Today both party on table with Erdogan

@mulj what you think about faces?
Left one is competent but non harismatic bosniac representative without charisma, in translation "aparatcik".
Second one serb leader with all baggage of their nationalism on exiting doors, basicaly putin's pawn but with high self preservance instinct, so if non noticed he can continue to be like that but in overall spent man.

The US still doesn't understand anything. The US thinks it is dealing with a nation like Greece or the Baltic states. Turkiye is not a vassal to the US anymore. The US can't understand/comprehend that. Either the US will offer us the same seat on the table that the UK, France etc has or we will continue on our path.

Its interesting that Turkish government officals have not simply outright rejected the idea. In fact, the only response seems to be ignoring the proposal.

Realistically, the best outcome one can hope for with the S-400s is that a former Soviet republic in Central Asia purchases them (more likely to be approved by the Russians). It seems like Russia has had great success in causing division with the sale.

Its either:

1) continue to 'upset' the US by holding them = No F-35s + Embargo and Russian cooperation e.g. Akkuyu continues

2) Cooperate with the US e.g. stored in a secure location without the ability to activate the system, then both parties can analyse the system = F-35s + lifting of embargo + perhaps more favourable relations e.g. less criticism of 'actions' in the East Med. However, this option would undoubtedly severe relations with the Russians - one can expect a number of sanctions (gas, oil, tourists) and the suspension of the nuclear powerplant.

This outcome would be largely similar if the S-400s were supplied to Ukraine, however ontop of this, Turkey would give up its role as a mediator.

3) S-400s remain in the current state, Siper and national projects advance to a stage where the S-400 is no longer needed. S-400s are then sold on to a nation 'friendly' with Russia, and other cooperative projects such as Akkuyu continue.

Bruh we can't even use this system how is Ukrainians are going to use it?
Nope, you guys can and I believe that you guys used it during a mock fight before

Moreover, Ukraine knows how to utilise S300; thus, utilising the S400 is feasible

Not really. There are differences between S-300 and S-400 as much as there are similarities.

Still, they could use it. There's a certain level of similarity that would allow them to adapt quickly. However, this whole debate is fruitless. Why should we make ourselves a target for a bunch of countries which are supposed to be our allies but, yet, they sanction us, exclude us and they would most certainly never risk a confrontation with Russia for us even if the Russians would announce to the world that they attacked us first.

For the first time in YEARS the AK government is following a meaningful foreign policy. I'm more shocked about this than about Russia's incompetency...lol.

There is no way we accept F35 to be operated from Turkey, neither any that can be in our possession nor any in possession of other countries. F35 is dead in our region. S400 gives us that power. No amount of begging by the US will change this.
