MEK is as Islamic as Turkey's Gülen is. Read some book dude!

MEK is as Islamic as Turkey's Gülen is. Read some book dude! In Albania they were accepted because th US wanted to confine them somewhere outside the ME.

you keep missing the point, do you have comprehension problems?

or are you so ignorant that a big and never conquered nation like Turkey can come under the influence of western controlled political islamists but little Albania is pure and free from that?

The point is that "political Islamism" is almost entirely owned and controlled by the non-Islamic world.

Feto and m.brotherhood are,not the establishment in Turkey or KSA.The halifa in Constaninople held political and religious power. Was he(the sultan) a puppet of outsiders? Albania is a small country and can't antagonise the big powers, but religion is practised by a small portion of the population and exists primarily as an identity. So no feto taking control there! You are too conspiratorial for someone living in the UK! Religion, history, identity and geopolitics are intertwined. Go read some books mr Goat and stop spitting in the plate you eat(UK plate).

sorry i cant waste my time anymore with you. absolutely clueless.

Yes i live in england but i was against iraq war, i was against their attack on libya, their invasion of afghanistan. all of them were conspiracies against said states. Only the truth matters, nothing else.

Because i was born in england does not mean i follow the evil deeds they commit, that is not the Turkish way, maybe its your way, never the Turkish way.

I follow the laws here, i pay taxes here. But I cannot side with evil no matter who commits it.

I agree with that. USA will use India against China and Islamic countries. India will fall to pieces and turn into a bloodbath. India should use its Mind and learn from other countries that the US is using as a subcontractor.
@Nilgiri

They will try to use. Every country does whats in its interests to stay at top by having those below them fight each other. The more powerful you are, the more privileged time you have to do this.

But the key word is try. India is simply too big for them and we have suffered at their hands enough and remember it and are reminded of it when they keep playing hypocritical double standards game with us on various issues.

Look for muslim world, for every Pakistan (whom we have the worst relationship with), we have an even larger Indonesia (largest muslim population in the world) with whom we have a good and further improving/strengthening relationship. Rest of muslim majority countries fill into the spectrum somewhere....on frank you reap what you sow basis.

This helps to always illustrate the specificity of why one (relationship) works and why one doesnt rather than to use reductive "islam" being the overarching issue.

China is an ancient relationship with us (given its size, historic wealth, cultural contact and relative proximity), so the current century or so of problems with it is CCP + Tibet driven mostly...and to first understand those you need to read what happened to China over the last 200 years that have changed a lot of its outlook on power and world realism....why it went for authoritarian non democratic system and why it doubles down on it till it has absolutely every duck in a line that it can.

That is again stuff outside the ambit of the west to micromanage and dictate to us or anyone.

Where our interests align, we cooperate....where they don't we stay away.

It was not Turkey (or any muslim country) that sent a carrier battle group to bay of bengal to threaten us, it was the US (and britain with a task fleet before them). They were very against creation of Bangladesh, ignoring their own consulate's telegram (Blood telegram) on what was happening on the ground there.

They then hypocritically put sanctions on India for its nuclear weapons development. You see true colours and true interests only when you raise the stakes of the issue to the highest level regarding basic core interest of your country to protect itself and those it holds closest to it.

Past that its only a field of grey to meander in as you will...smart and cautiously.

The Non-Aligned Movement is hurting.

The caste system and hindu/muslim conflict in your country are a threat to your future. The nationalist crew at the head of the country is going with fuel to the fire.

Your government's attitude towards Muslims will affect your relationship with Malaysia, Indonesia and other Muslim countries in the long run.

Btw, If you look at my messages, you'll see that I criticize my own government and my state. This is not a forum where Turks or Muslims masturbate. Everyone writes what they think is right and their thoughts.

We are a continent of a country with a continent of challenges (inherited, created, renewed for all kind of reasons which is long and off topic).

No country, especially this size, has perfect line and sequence of govts/administrations....given there are things that rest in the psyche of the people from their various perceived grievances, scapegoating and raw tribalism (that exist alongside the good things in the psyche).

These things in the end cannot be read about (especially in some small media microcosm) to be understood, they have to be born into and lived. Can a non-Turk for example truly understand Turkish internal matters?

That is why its relevant for me to talk about these things with fellow Indians only for the most part (unless a foreigner shows a deep credible understanding of India in some way).

These are our problems in the end needing our solutions...and for me to point out (where I can to my compatriots) what is the problem in default victimized approach and making new victims will make it worse. No one else in the world owes us a living, that is our own responsibility and ours alone.

You see India is totally unique country to any other you see, what currents and tendrils existed as a nation (from its civilisation) are a long story, but its realisation as a country in the modern era is something of a unique vast scale never done before.

As result of this delicate new construction....we have aligned to a better reasonable balance of liberalism and realism, unlike China which has pursued the path of abandoning the former to go all in with the latter...and has its extreme authoritarian system that it will find very difficult to shed (to its detriment).

It is why we avoided a holocaust/mass genocide like far more developed+wealthier Europe during the 20th century (culminating in the 1940s) ...for Europe to only then slowly make something of a parallel to what multi-cultural union India is (in the European Union).

The same Europe (and US) that refuses to understand this deeply enough to point fingers at us now hypocritically.

It is why its impossible for India (with all its internal challenges) to imprison and do even worse than that to near entirety of an ethnic minority like China has with the Uighurs. An imprisoning that can be seen clearly from space.

If " islamic world " wants to take some reductive approach to India on its challenges (that have always existed well before this administration today), it is welcome to first do so on the commensurate scale with China first.

But will it?

In fact it can do so with itself first....seeing what happens in the middle east constantly.

Currently, China is strong, in terms of economy and raw materials. No country can do anything. Raw material is a crucial point, even for America.

Rare earth elements are very important...

As for the Uyghur issue, it is a handicap for them to be of Turkish origin. Besides, countries don't really care, for this small number of communities, no country will take China against them. The Turkic republics, on the other hand, do not have enough military and economic power to confront China

Sure so I am just talking about break down of principle when it comes to realism (power)....China and the Uighurs illustrates it a great deal.

Does a country get to do anything it likes (even with its own citizens) as long as its powerful enough?

The US killed and negatively affected many muslims (especially in Iraq) for example on basis of fake WMD charge.

Iran has found itself in a big conflict in middle east against fellow muslims and is also directly responsible for many of their deaths now.

Have either had a strong collective response from muslim world at large? Would that not be first step on the gravity of the principle at hand?

Has muslim world stopped massive weapon purchases from the US, massive trade and commerce with them and large numbers emigrating there (and west at large)?

If not, is it fair to single India out? India is just another large imperfect country in the end....that is going through its cycle of self-discovery (as it heals, grows and establishes itself)... both good and bad.

The bad toxic stuff (inevitably concentrating in politics, as politics is the final expression of this since this is where power resides) you see now is from an accumulation of birthing pangs of modern India that were not addressed for a long time and left to fester. It happens...I dont like this part of the human existence but I am resigned to it existing as it does and doing my bit in whatever capacity to managing and directing it to a better routing wherever I can.

Overall though, given what India started out with in modern era and given its size, it actually has done a reasonable job in my opinion compared to global human average. It has enough within itself to see this phase of its journey through too without major bloodshed that has afflicted other countries (like China, Europe, US).

I can change this for issues concerning the non-muslim world....in the end the religion/identity doesn't matter to this being in all of mankind.

i.e it (fear driven tribalism and inability to stay principled in the political and geopolitical realm) is a thing that afflicts the human psyche in the end.

I would like people and entire countries to be as principled as possible...but people are in the end imperfect beings, especially those that often find themselves in the corridors of power (as their accountability is diminished even more). The power-class in general I feel most easily harnesses what is bad in their society....compared to what is good....because bad promotes fear which is the easiest route to unaccountable power. That is the nature of power.

The good in a country is mostly left for regular nameless people to carry on with and put in practice. One can only wish each country has enough of that to balance out what resides in its power conduits.

In any case, if you want to chat more on it....lets go to cay bachesi or india coffee thread etc.... I am going to let this get back to turk foreign policy etc.

Personally hoping this is the beginning of the Russian Federation breaking up.

Islamic world and the Turkic world will be expanded more.

With more Turkic and majority Muslim lands.

Good thing is us Turks have history and cultural ties here. Our influence will be expanded even more.

China, Iran and the Arab countries will barely have any influence here and the Americans would barely able to make any inroads here too.

If turkish Republic elect a new government in 2023, how will it effect the current turkish foreign policy dynamics ?
Let me break down the question in some details.

No.1: What will be the new policy concerning USA, NATO and EUROPE ? Or will it remain by and large the same ?
No. 2: What will be new policy regarding middle east ? Especially syria. What will be the solution to refugee problem and PKK ?
and then what about the current goverment's new approach to SAUDI ARABIA, UAE, QATAR and israel ? Will it be maintained ?
No. 3: What will be the new policy regarding africa? Will turkey pull out from libya ? And what about turkish decade long economic, geopolitical and security investment in other african countries ?
No. 4: and what will be the new foreign policy in South East Asia ? For example with malesyia, indonesia, bangladesh and pakistan.

I am keen to hear your 'in depth' answers guys! @Ryder @TR_123456 @GoatsMilk @borchadinho @Zafer @Yasar

The opposition in Türkiye do not even talk about what their policies are regarding practically anything. So we are in as much of dark as you are.

However even in the unlikely scenario that the opposition comes into power major deviation from current policies will be met with severe reaction from people and I don't think they can implement any out of current line policies for any length of time.
