Secularism means to disable those who want to oppress and use force in the name of religion.

one of the major tricks marxists use is to change the perceptions and definitions of words. For example in the west a patriot or a nationalist has been turned into fascist and racist. The Islamists used the same trick with Secularism, they fooled the people into believing that secularism means atheist and against religion. Without secularism, in a country like Turkiye you will end up with religious tyranny. Like what happened in Iran. Secularism actually guaranteed your freedom to believe what you want to believe, to worship who you choose to worship.

Erdoğan did really well for a few weeks but couldn't hold it in and had to say something dumb.


Israel gave us an olive branch after years of animosity, literally sent countless planes full of arms to Azerbaijan, and wanted to cooperate with us against Iran, which could've opened the gates to a united Turkic world.

Yet here we are with a leader who called an organization which recorded themselves killing unarmed civilians "freedom fighters".

I bet you all remember when the media tried to paint YPG/PKK as "freedom fighters". Infuriating as f*ck.

It seems like certain elements in our government can't control their emotions and let religion dictate everything they do. They jeopardize national security for their own ideals and interests. This is why we win on the battlefield and lose at the table.

We dumped all the remaining credibility we had into the trash bin just because of one man. We shouldn’t act surprised if the world keeps labeling the PKK as freedom fighters, because after all, we are also doing the same thing by labeling other terrorists as freedom fighters too.

Anyways, we really need to stop this mad man, and for good. This country deserves better, way better.

Why nowadays is Turkiye being condemned for not saving Palestine? Do people think Turkiye is an empire that can go fight and save everybody.

When you see the videos of street interview, you can see so many idiots like him. They reply to the question about "If it's needed, would you go and fight for your Muslim brothers against Israel?" like "Yes, of course. Bla bla bla...."
And then interviewer says that "Ok. We have a list to add people who want to fight in Gaza. We arrange a transportation. Shall we add your name and ID information to the list?" and the people turn 180 degree and say many excuses not to go there. 99,9% answers in the similar way.

Our people is just like that. composing of many idiots. and unfortunately, the country is being governed by those people.

Bro, there are literally people believing that the British gave Ataturk the win in Canakkale and later supported him so they can have a puppet country. We have people that call themselves "historians" that are saying "it was better we stayed under Greek rule rather than being ruled by Ataturk".

Unfortunately in the last years these kind of people are on the rise. It is clear as a day that some officials on high positions within the government have a very big problem with Ataturk and his name is remembered more rarely than ever. I can tell for sure that it is remembered before elections for example. There is a try to replace Ataturk with the image of President Erdogan. The current situation of Turkiye is portrayed as the Second War of Independence. As I agree that the ruling party did some important changes within the system of how the State operates it also made very big mistakes of which the results we see today. Unfortunately the price for those mistakes was paid in blood. Both Ataturk and President Erdogan have their place in the history of Turkiye but to compare one to another is not right. The whole propaganda in that direction is something that is not right.

When it comes to the current status of Ataturk in the Turkish society I think both the ruling party and also the main opposition party bear a great responsibility. We can say many things about the party of Ataturk CHP and its current state which is a total disgrace to the legacy Ataturk left after he departed this world. In order to not deepen the political discussion I will not continue further. I rarely join internal politics discussions due to my principles which are saying "do not meddle in politics" and also my position as a moderator in the forum.

I can say one thing regarding this issue. No matter how hard some try, no matter how much gulf money is poured in their projects, no matter if the great powers corner us again, we will win. Again and again. We are the always shining sun above Turkiye. We are the youth of Ataturk.

Zia ul haq one of the most polarising figure from south asia. If any one want to point figure on how pakistan is today it would be this guy. Has nuclear parity with a rival 7 times larger, yoinked the soviets in afghanistan but his afghan policy along with the domestic pleasement attitude towards extremism boomeranged badly. Atleast the guy was feared he was whacked by having explosive mangoes on his plane

Hamas is Palestine's army.
Palestine has the right to defend themselves.

They are not Palestines army. There a lot of indications and reports that Hamas was created by the Mossad as a rival to Yasser Arafat.

Hamas harmed Arafat, harmed PLO, harmed the Oslo accords and damaged the reputation of the Palestinian resistance.

Even when marxist Palestinian groups hijacked airplanes, cruiseships and trains, attacked airports all over Europe, they created more sympathy than Hamas.

Hamas frustrated since 1987 everything that Arafat and his PLO achieved, its like the Black September organization that suddenly attacked the Israeli Olympian athlets for the eyes of the whole world. For what?

Hamas is controlled opposition and sometimes Israel lose the control.
