He better not, deterrence credibility of superpowers relies on their ability and willingness to not back down. And one thing everybody knows for (almost) certainty, United States won't back down. That is what gives NATO's nuclear umbrella credibility.
So far, they did. Not sure about the next 20 years tbh.

Those nukes, and NATO, are a major reason for our (somewhat) stability and prosperity. And that's a fact.

I still prefer Türkiye to have their own Nukes instead of relying on a Country that supports our enemies in front of our eyes...

Obviously having your own is better. But still, in a theoretical nuclear war, handling a couple of launch sites in Turkey would be easier for a nuclear power than having to beat the US/NATO with the nuclear triad and countless launch sites.

Common diplomatic courtesy. Which doesn't oblige you to anything. Just a couple of weeks ago they also congratulated us. Almost on the day of the visit of the Greek Minister of Defense to Yerevan.
There is no need to look for any hidden intentions in congratulations and statements addressed to other countries.
If, relatively speaking, something happens in Canakkale (we write “Canaggala”), we'll gett there. Then the Greeks will know that we are not only polite :ROFLMAO:
Armenians recently became convinced of this:LOL:

Same thing happened some years back when China didn't Veto Iran sanctions and followed through on them. They even were wary of the sanctions after Trump exited JCPOA, which were imposed outside of Security Council mechanisms, but the Chinese still erred on the side of caution. Shows what the Chinese analysis on the geopolitical front is, despite some signals to the contrary pointing to Xi's personal ambitions. Several appointments show those have gone through the self-correction process after the underwhelming performance of the past couple of years.

"lie low, hide your capabilities and bide your time". said Deng Xiaoping regarding the overarching strategy of the Chinese state; still viable and it requires correct analysis of your adversaries capabilities to not repeat another emotional and hasty episode like the Boxer rebellion. Doesn't mean they are acting timid; they still do a lot of business and

But they know they can't just be reckless and have to tread a tightrope. They understand the importance of managing sentiments in the market.

The news reflects Turkey's increasing involvement in Iraq, seeking to forge broader relations to quell longstanding tensions along its southern border, with the recent meeting held between the Turkish and Iraqi foreign ministers in Baghdad on March 13. Security officials, including PMF leader Faleh al-Fayyad and National Security Adviser Qasim al-Araji, were present.
Iraqi sources told the publication that with the presence of the PMF at the meetings, it signals Tehran's support for the Turks to act in Iraq.

This means that all YBS members within the Iranian supported PMF/PMU must be arrested and handed over to the Iraqi Government which pays their salaries in order to be sued for participation in prohibited organization... And we know that this is not happening anytime soon.

Armenian Varsen Aghabekyan was appointed Minister of State of Palestine.

Yerevan media reported this.

Remember this? 1000 angry young Turks decided to protest against Azerbaijan in support of Palestine

Where are they today? Let them go to the Palestinian consulate and protest against the Armenian minister of Palestine :(

Germany is thinking about a “nuclear club”

The German government began to think about acquiring
nuclear weapons. This possibility began to be considered in connection with the increased chances of Donald Trump returning to the White House.

At the moment, two scenarios are in the lead - signing security guarantees with Great Britain and France or purchasing about a thousand nuclear warheads from the United States in order to become a nuclear power. Experts consider the first option to be more realistic.

German politicians and opinion leaders insist that Germany needs to ensure national security without being tied to the United States.

The Russian Kommersant writes about this.
(I should note that I do not trust Russian sources. But...)

In my opinion (this is not just my opinion), it is time for Turkey not only to think in this sense, but also to act, despite the possible negative reaction of some countries. Completely different times are coming in the world.

Germany was the first country who did research to nuclear bombs.

Very stupid that they never continued this after the war.

Greatest proof that all German cabinets after 1945 were not real German.

You are telling a distorted version of history. Yes, Germany was in late 1930's ahead in nuclear research. However, the Nazis considered this field to be a "Jewish science", hence they never dedicated real resources to nuclear research in the 1940s. Additionally, many of their leading scientists were Jews and they left the country due to persecutions. It was later revealed after WWII that the Germans never worked on a nuclear bomb. Their entire nuclear endeavor was for civilian purposes.

The US was in a race with itself to develop the first nuclear bomb.

Might be related to them being under occupation of 2 superpowers at the same time.

A great part of the population of Izmir are etnic Armenians, yet they act as if they are Turks.
No significant Armenian or Greek minority remains in Izmir. Per 1881 census, Armenian population of Aydın Vilayet(modern day İzmir, Manisa, Aydın, Denizli and Muğla) was about ten thousand, or 1 percent of the population. You are literally parroting Armenian, Greek and Enosis dreamer claims to make a non true claim about people of İzmir. Think about that.

Please refrain from making extraordinary claims if you are not going to be able to support that with concrete evidence and relevant valid sources.
Hearsay and rumours have no place here on matters that is important to the core of the REPUBLIC .

Türkiye President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, at the invitation of the White House, will visit the United States on May 9, where he will meet with his American counterpart Joe Biden. Reuters reports this.

Apparently, Biden no longer has any hope of being elected a second time. So he asks Erdogan to come to Washington to help him.
Indeed, Erdogan is the most experienced politician in the world. He knows the secret formula of power - how to make sure that he is always elected, and not some other candidate like the vegetarian Gandhi. True, the agency does not write about this, but we ourselves can guess without Reuters :)
