Funny tough, Saudis are very close with Pakistan as well.
also, don’t think Turkey’s NATO commitments would be the reason as the bloc is not a military allience and India is a QUAD member.

I’m grateful to them for the opportunity and also must thank them for not keeping us at the door for decades with “outdated” values like democracy and human rights as excuses since, with few exceptions, current members and future members mostly don’t really even exercise such norms.

Who tf cares about BRICS

It is a dysfunctional union that our politicians try to join to herd sheep.
If you think so then you are quite naive (no offense meant)

At first all of us thought the same way but the fact that the BRICS alternative to SWIFT will soon come to service and the fact that current members trade in their own currency is already a huge win. Couple that with the fact that the biggest obstacle in India-China relations have been solved within BRICS and you should see the immense potential it has if utilised correctly

China's foreign trade with dometic currency has already surpassed its foreign trade in dollars which is a huuuuuge achievement. The same goes for Russiaas well.

The world is shifting and the West is collapsing with narcissitic pro-LGBTQ idiots rising to power and the US suffering from the worst 2 presidential candidates in its history, massive public debts, refugee crises, and Russia's war in Ukraine

Turkic union is way weaker and more fragile than BRICS

Hell, the Turkic nations (aside from Turkey) dont even have the guts to recognise their fellow brothers in TRNC in order to not antagonise their Western masters but sure..... they will surely lend a hand in time of need

Insult me as much as you want but the truth will remain the same regardless of the vile words you used to describe me with

Why hasnt the Turkic nations recognised TRNC till date?
The problem lies in some of the member states themselves as their leaders dont wanna antagonise their Western masters..... period!

It doesnt make sense for Turkey to be the onky nation at the forefront fighting for the TRNC while the other states just cheer from the backseats and only claim that they are a part of the victory when Turkey wins and if Turkey lost, they will just throw all the blame at it and act as if nothing happened

Albania is a weak country and Iam not denyin it. Sadly, as per the rules of the jungle, we have to bow to the strong

However, Albania isnt a part of the Turkic alliance but nations like kazakhstan and uzbekistan not stand side by side wih Turkey and recognise TRNC? Wasnt one of the alliance goals to protect the interest of the Turkic people? Yet they sell the TRNC to avoid antagonising US, France, and Russia?

When Russia entered its war, China and Iran aided it
When US concotted the Ukrainian war, all of the West aided it
When the Arabs initiated a lockdown against Qatar, most of the monarchies aided it
When Azerbaijan fought its war to reclaim its rights, Turkey aided it
When Turkey stands up for TRNC? Who will aid it I wonder?

The most important Union to us still is and will be for the foreseeable future the EU. Even if we're not part of it.

I can tell why at least Kazakhstan has not recognized the TRNC.

All the way back when the full-scale invasion of Ukraine first began, Tokayev said TO PUTIN'S FACE that they will not recognize donetsk, luhansk and the other rogue Ukrainian oblasts as independent countries.

After all that, its not that hard to conclude that if they turned around and recognized TRNC, Russia would throw the mother of all hissy-fits.

Both China and Russia has territorial claims against Kazakhstan. They need to walk on eggshells, geopolitically speaking.

As for the rest of the members of the OTS, I have no clue.

My point of view may seem a little strange, but the recognition of the TRNC by the Turkic countries depends more on Türkiye than on our Central Asian brothers. Let's answer the question "Is Türkiye ready today to guarantee security to the mentioned countries neighboring the two giants?" Or conclude a military assistance agreement?
Obviously not.
Unlike them, we have the Shusha Treaty with Türkiye. Therefore, Azerbaijan is the closest to recognizing Northern Cyprus.
We all need a powerful Türkiye.

If Russia won in Ukraine they were going to go after Kazakhstan.
