No one cares what Germany wants.
As long as Greece refuses, Turkey wont be added. Greece is nothing more than a puppet state; however, it isnt controlled by Germany but by the US and Israel and Israel doesnt wanna Turkey to get included in the process

Germany being the largest economy of EU, had the unenviable burden of carrying most of Greece’s financial fiascos. And yet, they dont refrain themselves of officially supporting latter’s political demands in Aegean and East Med. That said, it’s also true that there’s an increasing correlation of interests between Greece and others you mentioned.
We’ll wait and see.

It is of existential importance that Türkiye is included to the SAFE mechanism for Germany,UK and France.

But this is a matter of life and death for the likes of Germany. No army in Europe have the stamina for a sustained war like Turkiye. No army is experienced enough and has the manpower to sustain a war of attrition and to support it with it’s own war industry.
Germany has enough string of Greece in its hands to manipulate it. If they really want Turkiye in SAFE, they can make it happen.

And that is the point people need to understand.
Even if the war ''ends'',the Russian threat remains and building a production industry in the defence sector takes at least a decade.
Then there is the energy cost,Europe is poor in energy,no more cheap Russian gas.
Germany thanks his economic power to an extent on cheap Russian gas,Brown coal is not enough.
Norway is also not enough.
Türkiye has leverage,Greece and Southern-Cyprus need a pipeline.
There are many more factors.
So,we forget the veto power of Greece and Southern-Cyprus.

Two things. Greece and GKRY proven multiple times in the past that they are autonomous enough from EU when it comes to their most important needs. For these two, keeping Turkey out is their only reason for existence; so they will push for it; and even if they fail they will make sure they receive concessions from both EU and Turkey. GKRY minister's comment about opening Turkish ports from last week was related to this for example.

Second, EU countries don't really need SAFE to create venues of cooperation with Turkey. Coalition of the Willing is not an EU led coalition, neither is NATO. Germany can create money out of nothing and use those funds rather than SAFE funds to buy Turkish stuff; can support and push TR on the coalition for Ukraine etc. If thery actually want to, that is.

with in structure of reality SAFE does not have a very sound political ground.

SAFE is an attempt to revitalize military indistry and make it arractive as an economic impetus

European diplomacy heritage is more than good enough and creative enough to find a way to include Turkiye to SAFE if they decide so.....

Autonimous yes to an extent but losing on leverage,if Germany says ''shut up'' Greece shuts up.
And,will Türkiye accept this(other ways of cooperation) after how the EU countries treated Türkiye in the past?
Erdogan will want official entry to the Safe mechanism,in this case earning money wont be enough.

this is a stupid move ! we shouldn't allow them to open consulate in east their relationship with Hezbollah is bad as it is this consulate will be the HQ for their activates
