Officially it is seen as a strategic move but in reality it is just a Saudi move to keep the UAE Israel cooperation against the KSA in check.
When Turkiye and Pakistan are involved the UAE Israel air evaporates immediately, they know it we know it and the whole world knows it.
Remember Qatar and the Turkish base there.

Get back to the main topic of the tread before your posts are deleted please.
Just for me to understand: why are the above messages off-topic? they don't seem far off to me. This thread is about geopolitics, and this is inevitably linked to history. Many topics here are interlinked. If we do molecular level decomposition of topics, we cannot exchange any views here meaningfully. But you'd be right of course if we discuss the characteristics of a 6th generation jet engine in geopolitics thread. Please explain what is bothering you?

If Saudis are strongly committed at a broad and more strategic level (not only seeking some help for Yemen etc.) this can be a powerful alliance. Pakistan has nuclear bombs, a large military, and some technology (intelligent engineers there). Saudis have enormous finances but they also want to develop some technology and has been working on it. Türkiye can sell 200 KAANs to Saudis, 100 of which to be operated by turkish pilots. These would be available to Saudis in case of conflict, but also to help Türkiye in case of war with Greece or Israel. We can have military bases in SA. Many other effective cooperation ideas can be developed.

Some sort of alliance is welcomed with Pakistan, as of Bedounship of Saudi Arabia, I don't care. I care about Hejjaz.
Those people are not to be trusted apart from some temporary agreements in some particular geographic locations and events.
Forget about that stink

In an ideal World I'd rather an alliance with the Turkic States as the locomotive of it in asia but when I come to reality a cold alliance with KSA and Pakistan is a must in these dark days. We tend to romanticise alliance ideas on our mind but this is not an ideal time for dreams or wishes.

A lot of danger and risks lurking around us the latest will be Iran and an average Turk can imagine the possible upcoming events from there, I'd like to see a free South Azerbaijan state and even some kind of confederation of Oguz Turks but again in reality we'll see another Terroristan next to us...

Sometimes I ask myself WTF they do in that huge buildings in Ankara, why we can't act like we dream but I know the answer, we have enough power to destroy games but not strong enough to create our own yet so I repeat I really want to see that alliance with KSA & PK till we gain enough power I hope... That alliance wouldn't bring glorious victories but would give us the time that we need.
