Officially it is seen as a strategic move but in reality it is just a Saudi move to keep the UAE Israel cooperation against the KSA in check.Guys, what's your ideas about the claims that shows Türkiye among the Suadi & Pakistani pact on X platform?
Put Egypt into it, and I will like it.Guys, what is your idea about the claims that shows Türkiye among the Saudi & Pakistani pact on X platform?
Just for me to understand: why are the above messages off-topic? they don't seem far off to me. This thread is about geopolitics, and this is inevitably linked to history. Many topics here are interlinked. If we do molecular level decomposition of topics, we cannot exchange any views here meaningfully. But you'd be right of course if we discuss the characteristics of a 6th generation jet engine in geopolitics thread. Please explain what is bothering you?Get back to the main topic of the tread before your posts are deleted please.
If Saudis are strongly committed at a broad and more strategic level (not only seeking some help for Yemen etc.) this can be a powerful alliance. Pakistan has nuclear bombs, a large military, and some technology (intelligent engineers there). Saudis have enormous finances but they also want to develop some technology and has been working on it. Türkiye can sell 200 KAANs to Saudis, 100 of which to be operated by turkish pilots. These would be available to Saudis in case of conflict, but also to help Türkiye in case of war with Greece or Israel. We can have military bases in SA. Many other effective cooperation ideas can be developed.Guys, what is your idea about the claims that shows Türkiye among the Saudi & Pakistani pact on X platform?
Heavy diplomacy going on behind the curtains. Fidan met with Barrack, talked to Iran two times and today is in UAE all in 36 hours.
I think Turkey is pushing for reforms in Iran to avoid a US strike and things going out of hand more.
It is known that the PKK has substituted ASALA since its birth and was a de facto extension of it.
One thing i always personally noticed about the pkk leadership is how they looked like armenians. Does anyone have a deeper understanding about whether or not its true that much of the PKK leadership is crypto-armenians?
This is nothing new. Half of the PKK and YPG are almost all Armenians, and the other half are Druze and misguided ultra-left communist Kurds from Syria, Iraq, Iran and the farthest corners of Turkey. Very few of these ultra-left communists are Sunni Kurds maybe under 3-5%, i mean the Kurmanci Kurds (biggest kurdish population in Turkey).

There's no data to prove any of these claims. This is nothing new. Most of PKK/YPG are Armenian, Druze, Zaza Kurds, 80-90% of whom are of Alevi or Jews, Christian Origin.
Yeah,i dont get the Druze part? This is nothing new. I have had some encounters with the PKK in Germany, most of them were Kurmanci and Zaza never seen a Sorani.I am of Turkish-Kurdish origin and am familiar with the nuances. There are three Kurdish branches
Kurmanci -> Sunni Kurds, the vast majority of Kurds in the heartland, most of whom are related or related by marriage to Turks (the largest group) in the central south-east of Turkey, some of whom are also represented in Iraq. Predominantly hostile and opposed to the PKK/YPG.
Zaza -> Alevi or Christian Kurds, predominantly in Iraq, Syria, Iran and the extreme south-east of Turkey, e.g. in Dersim, Bingöl, partly also in Hatay and Malatya, Batman & Co. Ambivalent towards the PKK/YPG, difficult to classify. Many of them are also of Armenian Christian descent.
Sorani -> mainly in Iraq and western Iran, no roots in Turkey, mostly Shiites, but also some Sunnis, very distant towards the PKK/YPG.
I'm not saying that all of this data is 100% accurate, but it's definitely heading in that direction.
