Yeah bro losing 300 soldiers in a single attack was “1000 yıllık devlet aklı” (1000 year old statecraft) am I right? ;)

Oh yeah lets not forget how we backed off when Egyptians hit our base and we didn't do any meaningful counter attack, same will happen when houthis eventually striker our bases you people will pray or do some other arabic ritual and in the end, we will lose troops that weren't protected by Saudi AD.

During his trip to South Korea for official engagements, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan celebrated the November 8 Victory Day of Azerbaijan—a friendly and fraternal nation. As the presidential aircraft entered Azerbaijani airspace, the pilot contacted the air traffic control tower to convey Erdoğan’s message.

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF NOVEMBER 8TH, VICTORY DAY, IN AZERBAIJAN
Our fraternal nation, Azerbaijan, is experiencing the pride of the historic victory achieved in Karabakh.

Following the Second Karabakh War, Armenia signed an agreement on November 10, 2020, acknowledging its defeat. However, as November 10th coincides with the anniversary of the passing of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Türkiye, the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, designated November 8th—the day the critically important city of Shusha was liberated from occupation—as the official "Victory Day."

We didn't lose 300 men in a single day since Kunuri in 1950. You don't know your numbers.
We all know russians at that time probably martyred at least 250-300 soldiers, goverment was hiding this since the Incident, this is one of the reasons why seeing russians blown up by fpv drones in ukraine making me happy.

It seems both sides have calmed down. For the past few days, there has been a lull in the media of both countries. Evidently, unscrupulous journalists and bloggers have run out of compromising material.

I remember 2009 well—that was when the first conflict between our politicians erupted, centered on the so-called "Zurich Protocols." That episode was far more intense and dragged on for a long time, but, fortunately, we managed to overcome it.

Today, it is safe to say that the incident has been resolved: yesterday, as Erdoğan’s plane flew directly over Baku, a shower of emojis — 😍 — “rained down” from it onto the city🙂

At a summit in Ankara, the President of Kazakhstan proposed admitting Russia to the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) as either a full member or an observer.
Russia has long expressed an interest in joining this organization.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
At the 13th summit of the leaders of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), held on October 30 in Ankara (Turkey), President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev made two significant statements—articulating his country’s official position—that are likely to temper the ambitions of the Turkish authorities. First, he emphasized that the OTS is not, and should not become, a military alliance. Second, he proposed considering Russia’s participation in the OTS, either as a full member (or within an "OTS+" framework) or by granting it observer status.

According to the Kazakh leader, Astana supports the Russian project "Altai – Cradle of Turkic Civilization." He argued that his proposal would be both appropriate and fair, given that the Russian Federation is a major power that has maintained close ties with the Turkic world for centuries, and that many Turkic peoples have historically resided within its territory.

"In order to enhance the standing of our Organization, it would be a proper and fair decision to respond positively to Russia’s intent and invite it to join this framework or participate in the activities of the OTS as an observer," Tokayev stated...

*Kremlin deems Russia’s participation in the Organization of Turkic States “appropriate”

Russia considers it “appropriate” to participate in the work of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), stated Dmitry Peskov, press secretary to the Russian president. He made these remarks while commenting on an initiative put forward by President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

“Russia is home to a number of regions whose peoples are historically Turkic. Therefore, Russia’s participation in the work of such an organization would be entirely logical, appropriate, and natural,” Peskov said. He clarified that he was referring to the participation of the Russian Federation as a whole, rather than that of individual regions.

At the same time, Moscow has not yet received an official invitation to join the OTS. Peskov added that the topic is likely to be included on the agenda for discussions between Russia and Kazakhstan*

At a summit in Ankara, the President of Kazakhstan proposed admitting Russia to the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) as either a full member or an observer.
Russia has long expressed an interest in joining this organization.

Just after 100 AD the Great Hun Empire dissolved and the Turkic nomads started to cross river Idil (Volga) and moved west in to Eastern Europe. Although the Hun migration is documented in and around AD300, it may have started earlier. In fact many Turkic peoples may have lived in the Western Russian regions for many centuries prior to Hun migration. So until 1552 when Kazan was conquered and until 1640’s when east of Ural’s and lake Baikal were conquered, those lands from Hungary to Pacific were mainly populated by Turkic clans for 1200 to 1500 years. With Russian conquest most Turkic peoples were Russified. But many still kept their Turkic identity.

That is why there is a famous French saying : "Scratch a Russian and you will find a Tatar." that is also used by Vladimir Putin. (Well Putin’s partner is half Tatar. And their 2 children are a quarter Tatar.)

So with that in mind and with well over 14 million recorded Turkic peoples in Russian federation, they may have a right to be at least observers like Hungary.

The only problem is the organisation is aspiring to use a common Turkic language. How will that work with Russia who wants Russian to be the common language in ex Soviet states?
