Passive Exoskeleton Project, reached a point in the programme where security forces have been given examples for final feedback. After positive feedback production and deliveries will commence to security forces

-Reduces wearer's load of 40kg by 80%

Looking good :)
my knowledge of exoskeleton technology and future soldier project is minimal so could you please give some information on the delivery program? Which units will be operating initially? Will it cover the whole regular infantry units of Turkish Armed Forces in the future?
Thank you

Could you please tell them to send One package for me . I will test them and give feedback.
Winter is coming and there are chopped wood which need to be moved to the basement. It is pain and tough work to do for me therefore I will appreciate to decrease load by testing exoskeleton :D

Even if it won't work for combat troops at first, exoskeleton has much potential for logistics and artillery crews.

Hopefully it is not a scam and works as advertised.

Unique technologies for Turkish Special Forces from Bites

How is that “unique” sir?
They practically stole James Cameron’s space marines concept from Aliens 😆

Seriously though, getting real time biometric readouts and the situational awareness/POV of every soldier in the platoon on command console must be a tremendous tactical advantage

Is this system a general battle management system, or is it a system more fitted for individual soldiers? Can you mention other battle management systems that turkey has produced for both individual soldiers and other types of platforms as well? If I recall right the battle management system for interoperability between the naval forces was called advent and was made by the company Havelsan.

Here is the perspective of a US soldier about Night vision sensors, After watching his opinion It seems to me, Cenker project has some gaps that we need to reconsider, Especially after Seeing effects of night vision on Ukraine.

The "military of the future" application is becoming widespread in special duty units

BİTES Defense Aerospace Technologies will share a range of capabilities based on innovative technologies with local and foreign visitors at the 16th International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 2023) to be held in Istanbul on 25-28 July.

The company will also announce the latest developments regarding the ATOK system, which has attracted attention recently, at the fair. With the request of the General Staff and the ATOK Project carried out by the Presidency of Defense Industries, many advanced technologies were made ready for use at the "single soldier/single military personnel" level.

With the completion of on-site qualification tests in December 2021, the expansion of the ATOK system began.

With the contract signed between BITES and BMC in November 2022, the dissemination phase of the ATOK system became official. With the contract signed within the scope of BMC's General Directorate of Security Mine Protected Vehicle (MKKA)-2 Project, 5 Command Control Vehicles were designed. With the configuration that supports 20 people in each vehicle, the vehicles will be equipped with the ATOK system. By means of these vehicles, the operations of the General Directorate of Security Special Operations Presidency personnel in the tactical field will be carried out with the ATOK system.

Within the scope of the contract signed with the Presidency of Defense Industries in May 2023, 2 more ATOK systems will be provided for the use of the Gendarmerie Commando Special Public Security Command and the Special Forces Command. In this project, the ATOK system will be delivered towed. The necessary communication infrastructure and ATOK equipment will be placed inside and on the system, which consists of a single-axle trailer and a shelter to be placed on it. In this way, with the towed system to be integrated into any vehicle, ATOK will be transported to the desired point and operational support will be provided in the tactical field.

Staff equipped with technology

Detailed pre-mission plans are made in order for specially trained task forces to have complete control of the field in the operations they carry out. During the operation, the position of the personnel and their ability to serve are vital for the unit to be able to accomplish the task without being harmed.

For this purpose, the ATOK system, developed by BITES with national means, can be used to work on mobile platforms; It offers geographic information system functions and map and tactical picture capability to the use of security forces. In addition, with specially developed messaging software, it is possible to share all kinds of intelligence (photos, videos, audio, text messages, documents, etc.) together.

The ATOK system consists of portable and ready-made products that do not restrict the movement of personnel in the field. The system is equipped with advanced technology that allows to increase the situational awareness of special task forces and to prevent friendly fire. There are also customized configurations according to the team performing the operation.

In the ATOK system, there is a mobile device to be carried by the personnel and sensors compatible with this device. The operational functions are combined with the map infrastructure developed specifically for the "mobile device application", which is a part of the system. Tactical maps can be created on the map infrastructure in accordance with NATO and "national symbology" standards. On the other hand, some additional functions and sensors that will be needed by the personnel in different duties within the union are also added to the ATOK system.

Provides many possibilities in the field of operation

As ATOK becomes widespread, it continues its development.

The user interfaces of the ATOK system running on Android platforms have been updated in accordance with current technologies in order to provide a better user experience in the field and to access situational awareness and intelligence data faster.

Within ATOK, friendly unit tracking, live monitoring of health and location information of team personnel, secure communication between and within the team with a closed-circuit base station (LTE), intra-team messaging, intra-team video calls, encrypted transmission and recording of operation data, and even in cases where GNSS access is not available or unreliable, are possible to calculate and share personnel position with the Position Estimation Algorithm.

In addition, the data on the battlefield can be transferred to the Remote Command Control Center and the Mobile Command Control Communication Vehicle, paratrooper landing support, unmanned aerial / ground vehicles (UAV / UAV) management and video display, friendly unit tracking with the support of augmented reality glasses.

After the UAVs and UGVs, the robot dog was also included

With the ATOK system, data and video footage from UAVs and UAVs can be shared within the operation team. With this capability, ATOK raises situational awareness in its own special operations area and the special communication network it defines, and maximizes friendly unit tracking. The ATOK system, which offers wireless and secure communication with wearable technologies to the use of special units in the field, also provides instant sharing of data received from UAVs / UAVs in the field of operations with the same method.

In addition, data received from ground radars can be displayed on the ATOK map by integrating with the ATOK system. Thus, counter-threats can be visualized in the ATOK system and shared as a threat within the team.

The last unmanned vehicle integrated with the ATOK system was the "robot dog".

With this integration, in the field, where the personnel's access is difficult or risky, these areas will be reached with a "robot dog", video footage and various controls will be provided.
