The Hürjet has made maybe 200 flights today. After its first flight, it has approached 200 flights, and flies continuously.

We are now making the Hürjet even lighter. I have been saying the same thing since the beginning; I think this aircraft is the best aircraft in the Hürjet field.

The project is very close to maturity.

The experiences we have gained are accelerating Kaan's process. This is an issue that cannot be underestimated. Today, some processes in Kaan are accelerating thanks to this aircraft.

I remember reading or hearing somewhere that a flight usually take 30 min and less than 1 hour, so 200 flights isn't much tbh. But better than nothing.

I was hoping for 1000 hours flight.

We proudly celebrate the th year of our #HÜRJET's meeting with the skies.

As it took wings and flew to independence, it also carried the determination and power of our nation to the sky.

In these two years;
It greeted Samsun on its first domestic flight,
It spread its free wings to the Pyramids on its first overseas flight,
It reached high performance maneuvers with 6.3 G,
It reached supersonic speed of sound,
Our HÜRJETs left their mark on the sky with 179 sorties in total.

The success of our HÜRJET is the strong legacy we will leave to future generations.

We will continue to work to protect our legacy.

Some nice high AOA maneuvers at 10 seconds mark but surprisingly still no footage of the supersonic flight. It shouldn't be that hard... A Samsung phone in an F-16D chase plane would be more than enough...

Tolga Özbek instead claims first delivery date is not 2027 but 2026.

"Following today's news that the HÜRJET will be delivered in 2027, I spoke to TAI sources. Although the SSB reports indicated that the delivery date was 2027, this date was brought forward to 2026. TAI attaches great importance to this date. Because 2026 is very important for the Turkish Air Force, as well as for exports.

Hürjet delivery to HvKK is expected in last quarter of 2026 or Q1 of 2027.

How many engines for hürjet did we have. I am not sure the amount we imagine is going to be delivered. Tbh I expect delivery of very few and then the waiting game, again.
