Well they mentioned Euler's connection to them. They ought to have mentioned Leibniz too (close friends and mentor to both Johann and Jacob at the 2nd row).

They backed Leibniz strongly over Newton regd the calculus dispute

(IMO largely Newton's fault from his bad bookkeeping and documentation, he loved to scribble things and forget about publishing them quickly).

(Daniel) Bernoulli came up early in uni for me regd fluid dynamics (his equation works quite well as long as the fluid is not being compressed too much). iirc though it was Euler that actually derived the final equation.

But I already knew Bernoulli family from childhood when Johann set the famous "least time" problem and Newton posted a very elegant solution anonymously (using calculus ofc that was source of much consternation, friction but also respect between the two sides)..... so much so that even though there was no name in this reply .... Bernoulli supposedly remarked "I know the lion by its paw!" (i.e Only Newton can be that good heh)
