This seemed strange to me too. I don't know what is happening in cooperation chains of these institutes behind the background but It seems unnatural for Roketsan to develop their own seeker heads for missiles while an electronic and radar giant Aselsan is there.
Could be a misunderstanding bro, probably Roketsan officials have tried to say " RF variant is going to be made by Roketsan" implying the main contractor will be them, not SAGE. The seeker is definitely business of the Aselsan and we can sense the missile will share parts with Bozdogan.

I suppose it will take time to develop a multi-mode seeker with R/F and IIR ?

*might be incorrect labelling

I think block -II and I difference will be mainly about the system architecture, as Roketsan has told. Block-II was told to be SeaRAM equilavent with it's own search and tracking systems mounted on top as SeaRAM. This could imply both of the missiles in development and will be ready to be used in some years, initially it will use ship's tracking systems like RAM, and block II will be entirely autonomous like SeaRAM.

I personally expect both Levent and MKEK CIWS to use same components, driving motors and radar/EO arrangement. In this case we might expect reduction in missile count as in SeaRAM to make CoG and inertias compatible.

Now i'm wondering about Tübitak sage's stand. I wonder if the Gezgin and the Siper missiles are there ? 😀

Perhaps they'll give us an unveiling like surprise Goktug series Air-to-Air missiles?

Btw, It looks like TRLG-122 and TRLG-230 will be launched from drones too. The situation is getting more and more dramatic for Turkey's enemies.

Ballistic Missiles, good luck to all point defence systems both on land or naval

Is this still the block 1?

Yes Blk-1. It looks like Atmaca missile family will consist of three main missile system.

  • Atmaca Blk-1 SSM with Rf seeker
  • Atmaca Blk-2 SSM with dual seeker and underwater launching capability
  • Kara-Atmaca, surface to surface cruise missile.

Arent there any plans for an air-to-ground variant?
