Seriously impressive T1 turret. We will most likely see the design lines of Altay T2 configuration when deliveries of T1 commence.

IMHO at this point, all T2 improvements/capabilities should be applied to T1. We shouldn't produce any T1 at all and after a few years of T2 production, we should switch to T3 immediately. That way we can salvage the project.

Having watched the mobility tests with the indigenous powerpack and drivetrain, it is actually very impressive and not at all what some people wish it to be.

The only issue is, while Pars and Arma have gone through many changes over the course of their development and time cycles being used and bettered. BMC has not had that time.

6*6 >> fnss izici
8*8 >>bmc
Mbt>> tulpar

There are some requirements that local bidders should meet. One of them is locals motor.

As long as OTOKAR is orientated towards export customers and rejects local aggrerat and components in its projects and products, it will not get anything from domestic tenders. Therefore it is still noteworthy that it is still not understood that OTOKOR products will not find a place at Turkish Armed Force.
2 + 2 = 4. Nothing else.

OTOKAR has already understood this and that is why they no longer bid for domestic tenders.

Katmerciler's EREN. I think the ugliest vehicle at the IDEF

Are you sure it's EREN?
It really has an unpleasant look here
But it doesn't look too bad here:

Without government support and permission, no export deal.

What's so special about NLOS ?

Isn't that AKKOR guys?

It is obvious that a missile like Spike NLOS mentioned by the Roketsan manager integrated to OPV and Barbaros-MLU will provide many advantages compared to the laser guided UMTAS-L in terms of range and fire-forget/update features. In naval battles, it is always advantageous to see early and attack first. The missiles that can engage the target you see from further distances will also be a reason for superiority.

Both Pars and Arma have also had export success with satisfied customers. The only thing that BMC got going for it is the ARZU powerpack that gives it an edge, and with domestic sentiments favoring more local and indigenous products they might have a real shot. Also despite it being my favorite in terms of looks, there is no way in hell BMC designed that on its own. I refuse to believe that BMC has the smallest creative bone in there body that they are capable of designing something this sexy looking.

Still though, this is going to be an very interesting close competition, so may the best win!
