Just note that from our perspective Indian media is nothing but a mouthpiece of the Indian brahmin establishment. It is in perfect lockstep with the Indian state and just spins the yarn it is fed. This thread is nothing but Indian propaganda from Pakistani POV.

Now carry on ...... !
Cool, So how do you feel about the credibility of ISPR and the Pakistan Army briefings as a precursor to ISPR being constituted.

Not just our POV. Civil war in Karachi was apex.

Anyhow its very easy to boast using political statements however this simply remains 'Feelgood' when you dont add the political scale of the country. Would the opposition glorify an event that the incumbent government and incumbent COAS use as their sole reason for legitimacy when they have nothing else to show and whenever the said opposition opens their mouth, they are quickly told about the said achievement. Would you then glorify it and land them credence or would you demean their role in the said achievement?

If such is to go for then should we land credence to all that the Indian opposition states against their incumbent government? Using politician claims is one thing but using opposition claims is seriously clutching at straws

Anyhow wait for 10 years or 20 years, the story wont deviate from the events.

Indian Military Destroys Pakistani Ammunition Bunkers

Pakistan's ammunition bunker being destroyed by the Indian military (via Indian MoD)

The Indian military today claimed to have destroyed Pakistani ammunition bunkers in response to the latter's alleged ceasefire violations.
Videos posted by the Indian MoD on Friday evening shows the destruction of several posts across the Line of Control (LoC). Indian anti-tank guided missiles and rockets can be seen scoring direct hits on targets, which India claims, includes ammunition and fuel storage buildings and launch pads for terrorists to attempt infiltration along the heavily militarised frontier separating the nuclear-armed rivals.

A. Bharat Bhushan Babu, Spokesperson of the Indian Ministry of Defence said the Army inflic heavy losses on Pakistan in retaliatory shelling on the border in Jammu and Kashmir. "Pakistan initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation using mortars & other weapons along Line of Control (LoC) spread across multiple sectors including Dawar, Keran, Uri & Naugam. (Pakistan) deliberately targeted civilian areas. Own troops retaliated strongly causing substantial damage to Pakistan Army's infrastructure and casualties across the LoC. Several ammunition dumps, FOL dumps and multiple terrorist launch pads have been damaged," the official said in a statement.

According to the Indian media, at least eight Pakistani troops were killed in the “retaliatory” firing, while India lost six people including three security personnel.
Yesterday, Pakistan accused Indian troops of ceasefire violations. “Indian Army troops CFV in Rakhchikri & Khanjar Sectors along LoC targeting civil population with rockets & mortars in Tari Band & Samahni villages. 1 citizen embraced shahadat, 3 civilians including 2 women got injured. Pak Army responded effectively targeting Indian Army posts,” Major General Babar Iftikhar, Spokesperson Pakistan Armed Forces, had said.

Along the LOC there is always small scale engagements going on. Sometimes they lose men sometimes we lose and most times both lose men. This underlies the animosity between Pakistan and India. It is real and men die. On my last visit to Pakistan I met a young soldier on visit home to our ancestral village and my understanding was he was about to get posted on LOC. It is boys from from poor rural villages who pay the price for standing on the line.

Four civilians and a Pakistan Army soldier were martyred on Friday in "unprovoked and indiscriminate" firing by Indian troops from across the restive Line of Control (LoC) in several areas of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), the military's media wing said.

At least 12 civilians and five soldiers also sustained injuries in the ceasefire violations in what appeared to be the biggest escalation in hostilities on the de facto border in months.

By the way none of the videos posted can be verified, as they happened during this massive flare up.
Both Pakistan and India now have so many social media users that anything posted will be put up.

It is part of ongoing conflict escalation on the border area. These happen from time to time.

This is Indian news side to it:

For the last 70 years the LOC has seen continous conflicts and as technology gets better, we would see more and more videos and happenings which would get media limelight. This is not new but something both sides have partaken in for 70 years and have absorbed the conflicts for 70 years. it has gotten alot more media limelight since 2016 but such engagements are common and the poor people who have been living on those lands long before there ever was a Pakistan or India or Dogra or even the British, bravely facing the brunt but never leaving the land at all since it was their land and they have lived on it and defended it for thousands of years. Its very similar to FATA as even during the ongoing operations, the people would leave the camps and go to their lands, many simply to just stand there. @Kaptaan do you know about this? back in PU some students from FATA used to tell us that they and their family would visit their land everyday when the WOT was in full heat simply to stand there and then return back to the camps. Even Pakistani army acknowledged that the people were not leaving the land no matter what was told to them during the conflict and were more than willing to fight against terrotists raising lashkars to defenbd their land rather than leave it and let Pakistani army defend it. It also made security a huge hassle though but as i said. Well the land attracts

Land often drives a very primeval instinct in human beings. Soil that has seen generations of your ancesters toil, blood and bones is not easy thing to give up. Humans are deeply territorial creatures. We draw borders between "us" and "them". Then we fight. In fact most wars are fought over land. Look at the conflict in Nagarno Karabakh etc

Pak seems to be getting kind of desperate in Kashmir. Their hold on PoK is tenuous at best.
