Markets are booming because of speculation. Can you explain the following stocks' stupendous rise?

Adani Green
Adani (pretty much anything)

Seems how the stock of Tips has skyrocketed?

If they are clearing a mess for 7 years economically, just how efficient are they? What did demonization achieve?

Where are their smart cities? Bullet train? Swach Bharat? Toilets?

Cronyism is a reality everywhere. Yes, UPA took kickbacks. But RBI was independent. Democracy isn't just about voting. It's also about the independence of institutions. That's my take anyway.

i was sort of expecting this Adani / Ambani boggey . They seems to be favourite of everybody. you need to visit the website of adani Green to get your answers and see yourself the amount of money he is investing in building green energy. I am no fan boy of both these but markets reacts to future potential of a company. they are investors.. if they see a future they will invest.

Rest all your mentioned projects are infrastructure related. They are on their way and progressing smoothly. Swach barat specially have met it's objective nearly.

RBI is still independent. Who told you that they are dependent. As much democracy is about independence of institutions, it;s about accountability as well. A certain famed economist ensured that loans are passed on phone and is now whining about independence.

FYI, the biggest builder in India's biggest real estate market is Lodha. He is a BJP MLA since years.
Every BJP / Congress /NCP / Shiv Sena leader worth his salt has either some real estate business in Bombay or some link to a cooperative bank in Vidharba.

You think Jay Shah is in BCCI because he knows his doosra from his googly or because he can mint money?

I am not talking of specifics here. My comments were keeping broader picture in centre.

Exactly. It's speculative if it's based on the future. It is not rooted in today's reality.

BTW, Ambani keeps everyone happy - particularly was close to the Deoras.

How is Tips an infra company? Or TTML riding the wave of a future SuperApp? Or a grounded Jet Airways?

I am talking specifics because I work with people in the real estate sector. They are all looking to move away. Modi / Shah ruined the sector - you think it affected the lifestyle of the hated builders? No. The guys who were affected were the end user. The worker working in such firms. I've no love lost the Congress and especially not for the NCP.

At the state level, I would have preferred a Fadnavis Govt. I just don't think Modi / Shah can deliver on the economic front.

Okie this is beyond logic to me at-least as what Shah have to do with economic scenario. He was not part of first innings and Is home minister in second innings. Enlighten me.

Having said that current FM was found wanting on many fronts but given the situation of past 18 months or so, they have managed extremely well.

I disagree. UPA 1 did a lot of good - India-US nuke deal. GST was mooted by UPA 1 too and opposed by BJP. Their interferece with institutions was also not as blatant or proactive as that of Modi / Shah.
See I am not a bhakt, but for me Congress is becoming a joke, had dynamic leaders once, now all it is just a handful of jokes.

I agree. Can't dispute that. But can't become a single party country either - it's too much power. Indira abused it. Now Modi is. An NDA coalition or UPA coalition is needed to temper things.

How do you think the BJP coffers are getting filled? You think it is Sitharaman who is raising funds from industrialists and then pushing their agenda or is it Amit Shah?

This will give you an idea of how the industrialists are hedging their bets now -

Nobody is saying that political parties are saint but this nit picking is what ails us.

Every industrialist donate to these political party's & there is nothing wrong in that as per Law. On top BJP have lots of volunteers too who donate. naturally if they are world biggest political party than they will have donation too matching those numbers.

Gadkari is good, so is Rajnath. Both are last links to the Vajpayee administration. Among the Modi guys, only Piyush Goyal seems good. Parrikar and Swaraj died, that was a shame. Never thought highly of Jaitley but was competent.

BJP ministers are a gem, something congress has been unable to provide, the Scale of development by BJP is unmatched by anyone, thanks to their policies.

India's foreign exchange (forex) reserves surged to all-time high as it rose by $5.066 billion to touch a record high of $608.999 billion in the week ended June 25, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) data showed on Friday. The forex kitty had slipped by $4.148 billion to reach $603.933 billion in the previous week due to a fall in gold and currency assets.
During the week under review, the increase in the forex reserves was on account of a rise in foreign currency assets (FCA), a major component of the overall reserves, the weekly data showed. FCA rose by $4.7 billion to USD 566.24 billion.

As Indian economy re-opens + resets more (and imports kick into gear more), I expect forex reserves to take a dip closer to earlier pre-covid setting.

Indian Railways’ big achievement towards sanitation; Equips all passenger coaches with bio-toilets

By: Devanjana Nag|
July 02, 2021 12:59 PM

As many as 73,078 passenger train coaches have been fitted with 2,58,906 bio toilets.

100 per cent of passenger coaches have been fitted with bio toilets.

Bio-Toilets in Indian Railways: In line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mission of Swacch Bharat, Piyush Goyal-led Indian Railways has fulfilled the pledge of bio toilets in passenger trains. According to the national transporter, 100 per cent of passenger coaches have been fitted with bio toilets. This has ensured that no human waste is discharged from coaches of passenger trains on rail tracks. With this effort of the Railway Ministry, around 2,74,000 litres per day of excreta on rail tracks are being avoided. Indian Railway had said that with this move, human waste led corrosion of rails and fittings costing an amount of Rs 400 crore per annum, is also avoided. As many as 73,078 passenger train coaches have been fitted with 2,58,906 bio toilets.

Further, the national transporter has planned to supplement the existing system of bio toilet with vaccum flushing system toilet (bio vaccum toilets), which substantially reduces the requirement of water for flushing, while ensuring effective flushing of fecal matter from the pans. According to Indian Railways, bio vaccum toilets have been provided in a total of 1,372 LHB (Linke Hofmann Busch) coaches and also, it has been decided to provide bio vaccum toilets in air-conditioned LHB train coaches. Besides, sanctions for 8,500 coaches are also available, Indian Railways said.

Earlier, the Railway Ministry had said that the Indian Railways Bio-Toilet project is an innovative and indigenous development of technology. According to the ministry, this technology is a first of its kind, that has been used by any rail road in the world for on-board accelerated digestion of human waste. The bio toilets’ technology has been innovated, designed and developed under the Modi government’s ‘Made in India’ initiative. It has been created jointly by Indian Railways’ engineers and Defence Research and Development Organisation’s (DRDO) scientists. The adaption and deployment of the bio toilet technology in large scale has been facilitated by collaboration between RDSO, DRDO and Indian Railways’ field units.
