Southeast Asia's largest defense fair, Indo Defense Expo & Forum 2022 has started. The Turkish defense industry left its mark on the fair with the critical export contracts it signed.

Turkey was the country with the highest participation in Indo Defense 2022. Dozens of Turkish companies participated in the fair; Many products were introduced, including armored vehicles, unmanned aerial vehicles, anti-drone systems, rocket and missile systems, logistics support systems and electro-optical systems. Indonesian Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto and Defense Industry President İsmail Demir toured the stands of Turkish companies one by one.

Many export contracts were signed from the first day of the fair. The signatures are as follows;

-Anti Drone Systems to be produced by Boğaziçi Defense
- HAVELSAN ADVENT Combat Management System for various types of ships in the Indonesian Navy inventory
- 2 65-meter fast attack boats to be produced by TAIS
-Various rocket and missile systems
Making evaluations about the fair, Defense Industry President İsmail Demir said, “The Indonesian Ministry of Defense and the Minister personally have a great interest in the Turkish defense industry and us. Thank you for that too. Mr. Minister has visited Turkey 6-7 times in 3 years. In a sense, this was our return visit. We see that you are also very satisfied with it. Each step will bring and invite the next.” used his statements.

Most likely

There is also contract order for one unit CN235-200 cargo variant , for 748 billion rupiah deal. This aircraft would be the seventh cn235 aircraft family being operated by the Navy Air Arm.

Had a great discussion with two FNSS' representatives inside this bad boy today. I mean it. The discussion was so great that I forgot to take pictures of its interior...

I think EA showcases that their carrier vehicles can be used for Khan & Siper. There is nothing further in that cooperation.

*Or integration of Khan, Siper units on Czech Tatra trucks.

Excalibur Army local representative has close connection with the user and MoD and also that "good ties" which won the bid

For Khan it might make sense (however, i still doubt), but for Siper Roketsan has no authority to sign such a contract independently without others or SSB in the consortium.

After all, none gives the 99% of the credit in example of Siper AD system which added value is consisting of radar, C&C and missiles itself than the carrier truck integration.

What's news to me is that Rafale combat aircraft is expected to be delievered to Indonesia in 2026.
Just to add: according to Dassault's rep I talked with, all will be F4.

If this was not a miscommunication and all 42 Rafales turn out to be the F4 variant, then ***mindblown***.

Did Mitsubishi Heavy Industries even show up at the expo?

They're on the exhibitors list at Japan's pavilion (C-140).
