Commission I Supports the Advancement of Alutsista and Sarpras SatBravo 90 Paskhas TNI

The Special Working Visit Team for Commission I DPR RI appreciates the explanation from the Commander of the Bravo 90 Paskhas TNI AU, regarding the readiness to carry out the TNI's main tasks such as military operations for war, and military operations other than war with the support of defense equipment and infrastructure.
Commission I of the DPR RI also supports the achievement of the SatBravo 90 Paskhas TNI AU proposed program, including; the target for the construction of facilities and infrastructure, and the construction of materials until 2024. Given that the current condition of the infrastructure and defense equipment that is owned is not in accordance with the times, and it is hoped that Indonesia's need to have a strong TNI from 2021-2024 can be realized soon.
“Then there is also the need for a training ground, the need for fast transportation. So this should be driven by their needs. Hopefully the concept that we want, having a strong TNI from 2021-2024, this need has entered, "said Deputy Chairman of Commission I DPR RI Utut Adianto at the Bravo 90 Paskhas Unit of the Indonesian Air Force Rumpin, Bogor, Friday (4/6/2021) .
Utut added that the concept of soldiering and the readiness of the soldiers in SatBravo 90 Paskhas TNI AU had qualified capabilities, but in terms of equipment and existing infrastructure needed to be supported. Mainly related to tapping devices to support their performance, which is currently still using 2G technology, while current progress has reached 5G.
The same thing was conveyed by the Chairman of the Committee I of the Indonesian House of Representatives Commission I, Bambang Kristiono, who thought that support for significant improvements and improvements in the defense equipment owned by the SatBravo 90 Paskhas TNI AU was indeed needed. For him, reform is no longer needed, but also a revolution to improve the Indonesian defense equipment system.
"Let's just look at one example, we are now in the 4G era towards 5G but the equipment we have is still 2G. How is this? This means that all of these equipments are not optimally operational, or we can use them for the current situation, in other words, they are not in accordance with the times, so we need one, in my opinion, a revolution is no longer a reform. In my opinion, the revolution in repairing and perfecting the defense and security tools that we have now must be carried out," he said.
