I think If not Link 16 then Non at all.Our air force uses data link? What data link they used all this time?
This's a serious question. I'm clueless about it
How about that Scytalys? For sure not Link 16.Our air force uses data link? What data link they used all this time?

Also the magic of AMRAAM (and others that lock on with radar rather IR), it's not just the aircraft that launch them can give the target, but also others with the same data link (Link 16), including blimp actually, the discontinued JLENS. But still, the launchers are the one who slave the weapon, the decision to launch is up to them.More like E7 is third eye of Fighters.
Down to 24 units. From $13B+ to $3.3B, I wonder how much are omitted from the original DSCA announcement.
I don't think so. Why we need get permission again to buy something less? Will there be a new released DSCA with updated info on the package if we're really buying it?
Because "something less" is not a quality that DSCA accounts for. They only account individual components and approve. If there's a change of component, so does the details of what DSCA notifies to the congress.I don't think so. Why we need get permission again to buy something less?
I think E-7 not always available. Or maybe not available at all lol.
Aren't they already in Indonesia? You posted the twitter news on this previous page.Boeing come to Indonesia this August?
Maybe more to come. The point is they'll visit more places and more update on Eagle than Rafale.Aren't they already in Indonesia? You posted the twitter news on this previous page.

I just realized it's from 3rd Squadron. I thought 16th Squadron because of RAAF MRTT tracked above Sumatra posted here few days ago.
Can we put thales Link Y to air force US stuff? But Scytalys is newly developed. Are you saying all this time AU actually have no data link and used radio as usual?

After looking more about it, LEN actually also made it and already used by Indonesian military. But this one is indigenous systems, which mean you know, not interoperable with other countries.
