I hope they can thrive under pak Elfin leadership. They should expand the business, and focus more on getting knowledge, product cooperation with anyone. Ignore those certain country "speaker toa" that say you guys can get trouble dealing with certain country, business first, leave the politics to the politician.

Well considering that most of our neighbors are NATO-based equipped, we do need compliance to such standard to ensure common interoperability between armies which are important especially considering the threat from our exact northern hemisphere

anyway i never thought that we are also starting to use Link 12 and Link 16, i thought we were still only using Link Y Mk 2 for our battlefield Datalink system
Those NATO standard bus mil Data Link is a must as central command unit would have integrated system to direct war time commanding in real time

What is our current major defense acquisition that China is one of the competitor?
UCAV? Frigate? air defense battery?

Air Defense or UCAV maybe, or Heavy caliber MLRS, i remember some time ago they offered us loitering munition

How about marine amphibious vehicles?
"very important in terms of enhancing Indonesian defense capability" those are the keywords there , i didn't really think amphibious vehicle would make such a big impact .

It solely depends on whose saying it. Unlike you guys, I've never put much of a credibility in that penjaga kantin Dephan

Good to hear and good to read "some OEMs compete to win the program" which translate there are some form of competition going on. And if he worried about China involvement it prolly got something to do with UCAV or Satelite related things.
China Will Grow Larger
Yup, and we need to capitalize in the economic sector with them and reduce our dependency to US in economic/trade standpoint. Tho it doesnt mean we stop challenging them in Noth Natuna. We need to be pragmatic, smart and prolly abit cunning in dealing with both China & US.

I hope it's air defense, at least another addition to the NASAMS that we already bought before, we really need a major update, upgrade and upgun of all the air defenses that we have right now
