Btw, it seems UCAV still very vulnerable in this kind of conventional confrontation involved heavily armed parties equipped with modern combat aircraft at very large number.

And dang, i am wondered if Ten modern fighter combat squadron our leadership envisioned by 2030 is still enough after seeing how the Russian still able to amass hundreds of fighter at one go, and considering those mighty Dragon up north had more capability compared to those Russian nowadays. We need crash program and bring interim solution right now.

Why Harpoon if we already have collaboration with Kongsberg for their NSM? We can then request its air launched version - the JSM - from the US and then we'll have both air launched anti ship and land attack missile in one package.

The JSM is an air launched version of NSM developed jointly by Kongsberg with Lockheed Martin to arm the F-35.

Re: contract: We haven't reach that stage with Kongsberg yet CMIIW. But the possibility is there and that I was mostly questioned why we should choose Harpoon if the NSM/JSM can also do its job and -likely- better than it.

Add iron dome and it will be perfect point area defense, we should have layer of adequate air defense, from manpads, milenium guns+iron dome that cover our industrial and military complex, of course we need medium range air defense missile and long range air defense too
