i wonder why so many of us love the F35, i thought F35 is troublesome and cost tooo much money....
cause the US AF is kinda tired and starting to buy another F15 due the F22 and or F35 is choking them....

doesn't mean that i disagree about this 5th gen fighter, i believe it's just too expensive for Indonesia

Between prestige and strategic technological parity importance .... Any other reason could be added in between .
And mind you .... i sincerely think F 35 was a luxury we couldn't afford right now . Then again ... I'm just an enthusiast .

The only logical reason for such number would 1 squadron . No more and no less . And they only come out to kill the adversary air defence system not a CAP bullshit or not even in our independence day's parade .

Not that i am against other fighter in Indonesia, naturally you just need to beaten down your competitor but with actual facts. There is reason why Super Hercules can got thorough the tender against the likes of A400 M , as fact is stated they are the most resilience design of multipurpose lifter aircraft ever exist. And i believe F16 V is one of the best workhorse type fighter from bunch out there as TNI AU already operated the legacy type of them and know them better, at the level of how F 15 Made other strike and air superiority fighter is pale in comparison of capability they have and profile of mission they had accomplished.

A400M is "meh" aircraft anyway , even the german air force choose to procure more C-130J instead of more A400m .

52id is fake true block 52. i wouldn't touch that thing with a stick especially if you're going to operate it until at least 2045

For me prioritize rafale (36) and Eagle 2 (at least 1 squadron).

36+36 Vipers is Good but for Kohanudnas only.

F35 is a MUST, but we can wait.

Gripen is a no.
