yeah but why marineon though if it's for AD, i was hoping marineon for Penerbal instead (they could pave the way for our future LHD chopper fleet)

i feel like AD should ever stick with Apache atleast for a time being.

Maybe it is just promotional efforts from KAI, in the article the Army instead actively looking for ATGM....

Is it really necessary for all of our infantry to be equipped with optical sight or just iron sight all the way?

I read some articles that said iron sight is better in jungle environments.

It's better to have the options since not all of our infantry's engagements will be in deep jungle.

Now regarding Iron sights vs optical / reflex ones in jungles, I think it's because the humidity will affect the glass / optics to some degree depending on how severe it is. In that case, then yes. Iron sights will be much preferred.
