From current signing contract there is no mention of detail available yet, but previous MoU said Indonesia is in search for at least 250 8x8 vehicles in several config.

As far as i know the status its being offered along with other checzh defense product ( excalibur ) Such as csg kapa etc.
And for has been procure or acquired is no. Just like the naptune news. And like the famous formil quote is "hura percoyo yen hura ono fotone " in TNI livery. Just take it with grain of salt.although TNI AD is quite known with their ghoib procurement thing remember the M 113

Agree....Pandur 8x8 for IFV is a good choice although I think the army should also go for tracked IFV.
Something like this, natural successor to the Marders.

Be realistic and budget wise, just put 30mm on the Badak 6x6 platform you'll get IFV with lower acquisition cost and operational cost, and you will have a lot of them 
aren't we still have Kaplan IFV project ?Pandur 8x8 for IFV is a good choice although I think the army should also go for tracked IFV.

If it just for APC, battle taxi purpose, that's quite enough. But for IFV, fighting vehicles, that's not enough. Protection, fire power and mobility is armored vehicles sacred tenets. Large 8X8 offered more mobility, space for more powerful engine in which led to the space for additional armor for protection.

Too expensive for all units standard issue rifle.
The more realistic is for it to be the standard assault rifle for Kostrad, but even then I have my doubt.

Its just an AR 18 in steroids, with all polymer and ambidextrous system you will get around 3 to 5 SS1 with the price of a Bren 2.
