Officer Strategy to Arrest Lukas Enembe: Monitor the Number of Orders of Nasi Wrap
Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD revealed that Lukas Enembe's supporters in Papua are decreasing. The mass of supporters who were increasingly shrinking was used as a strategy for the apparatus to carry out forced pick-ups.
This was disclosed by Mahfud by measuring the transaction of packaged rice orders by Lukas for the masses who often stand guard in front of his house.
"We also have notes from the caterer for food that likes to sit in front of the house one day down, one day down, we count every day there is a note so catching it is easier," said Mahfud at the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Complex, Wednesday (11/1).
Even so, Mahfud explained that maximum security there was still needed.
"We explain that it is getting less and less until in the end there are no indigenous people except for indigenous peoples, that's all, it's decreasing but we still have to provide maximum security," said Mahfud.
Apart from that, Mahfud also said that his party did not rule out the possibility of arresting other parties involved in this case.
"For other people, yes, maybe it's called corruption, collusion if collusion definitely involves more than one person, maybe five, maybe seven, can do all sorts of things, now there's only two," he said.
Previously, the arrest of Lukas led to chaos in Papua. The mob of Lukas' supporters attacked the Mobile Brigade Headquarters headquarters in Kotaraja, Papua, also carrying arrows and sharp weapons.
A Lukas sympathizer was reportedly shot dead after being involved in a riot in the Sentani Airport area. The KPK named Lukas as a suspect along with PT Tabi Bangun Papua (TBP) Director Rijatono Lakka.
Lukas is suspected of receiving bribes from PT Tabi Bangun Papua (TBP) Director Rijatono Lakka regarding infrastructure projects at the Papua Provincial Government (Pemprov).
For his actions, Rijatono is suspected of violating Article 5 paragraph (1) or Article 5 paragraph (2) and Article 13 of the Law on the Eradication of Corruption Crimes (Tipikor Law). Meanwhile, Lukas is suspected of violating Article 12 letter a or b or Article 11 and Article 12B of the Corruption Law.
