It is Indonesian first experience to have major Submarine accident.... Most of true military people can't forget this kind of incident. Including people who actually working in military Defense industry and related ones. That's must be major change in training module, maintenance and operational procedure, sourcing of the sparepart, facilities and supporting units...there should be major change though the result would be the slowing down of procurement process...

Mega Bakti has arrived, i think it is first headed to the port and will be loaded with Indian DSRV.*
Swift Rescue is in fixed position:
KRI Rigel deployed to another sector,
KN-SAR ships scanning the region through, we can assume they are hunting for the debris.
KRI Soputan,ocean-going tug is on the way to one of the sites.

*Mega bakti wasn't equipped with an A-frame on the aft, less likely to be equipped with a DSRV, she also settled in SAR site upon arrival around 10 miles distance from swift rescue to provide life support if needed.

I really hope that this event, unfortunate as they may be, will expedite TNII AL plan to purchase submarine rescue capable vessel. Considering we are planning to buy more submarines in the future.

If I recall, there is a plan and approved budget already to buy 2 hydrographic and submarine rescue capable ships as part of MEF 2. Wondering if anyone knows the progress of this. Been searching about any update but could not find any in the media.

That conspiracy theory is widely circulates on Republican/Conservatives and the tankies (the far-left/leftist Aaron Mate-like are called like this wkwk) are alike (the left whitewash the far-right and instead called the liberal as BlueAnon and the far-right start following the tankies. Cmiiw it was KRI Rigel who scanned the area and found suspicious object. MV Swift then sent in their ROV and found the wreckage.
