If they offer conventional AND midget combo, it's okay.

You can't really call 850 tons submarine as midget submarine. It's probably only about 10m shorter than our Nagapasa, with 6 533mm torpedo tubes vs 8 tubes of CBG.

If we said yes to this 850 tons sub offer, probably because we need numbers more. Two 850 tons subs are probably better than just one 1400 tons sub. At least we can cover more area with two than just one.

Qatari midget sub is not 850 tons and is not produced by Drass. The same guy reporting it to be produced by GSE Trieste (M23 S.R.L) and CABI Cattaneo.

The Qatari sub length is less than 30m so the Qatari sub is not 850 tons sub. Totally different than your link (Drass DG-900) which is 50m and 790-900 tons sub.

Rapid beach assault using boats, we can learn a thing or two. Me after watching this video: TNI camo is not that bad, maybe not the best but definitely not the worst.
Boat: faster than amphibious vehicle but lack fire support.
Amphibious vehicle: able to support the infantry deep inland, but move slow on the water.
Tank boat: fast + fire support.

I don't like this Fincantieri's submarine offer. They don't have proven submarine design yet.

What makes a design proven?

In my opinion is it passing all the tests and requirements set by the operator.

I never take some lobbied operators who never complain about anything or without a proper acquisition bureue as proof.

And Italians are known to be well in the midget - small submarine designs. I would personally divide subs in 3 categories based on echole and design-construction complexity and features; midget (10-100), mini (100-1000) ,medium(1000-3000). They are known to be good at midget and mini.
