are they, changbogo and u209 (mod1400) completely different sub? by any chance we decided to buy tkms u family sub. Will we losing the learning curves that we got from the batch i nagapasa?

The Nagapasa class is branch of U209 family from the 1400 variant of South Korean Chang Bo Go class, and if Indonesia suddenly taking original U209 1400 from Germany, there is actually not much difference between the two (like the Egypty U209 as example) for the internal spec sheet they had they are comparable like how they are using MTU Made engine, Wärtsilä ELAC KaleidoScope sonar suite, Flank sonar arrays, Pegasso RESM system, Aries radar, Kongsberg CMS and so on.
The difference more on the how the Korean built the hull, integrated the system and some South Korean made stuff used.

From my understanding the chosen design as follow-on to our Sigma 10415 is FREMM, the candidates: improved sigma 10415, 30FFM, FREMM and AH140.
So PKR #3 and #4 is FREMM.

Meanwhile for AH140 design : we already shown interest for IH at least since 2016, that's when the first PKR still being finished (also launched at 2016), so IMHO regardless of what happened to PKR project be it 2 / 6 ships we still aiming to get IH, and now because of some reasons(business / marketing?) now from IH -> AH. CMIIW.

Not really, think again. Out of Indonesia's 270+mil pop, how many are military enthusiast which understand the general situation in the south china sea and the balance of power between China and Indonesia ?

Most of general citizens don't really care about Natuna, ask random people in the street and most of them don't or won't understand what's the whole fuss is all about.
