If we are only using mica or camm, it's suffice
5500-5800 tons GP frigate with no medium or long range surface to air missiles??
well, no offense but sounds like it's just Martadinata class with more ayes and bodyfat

and how about the Mk 41s?? are they gonna plug it in? or just gonna add more mica's or Camm's..?
Aster 30 is another options instead of SM-2MR if they design it with Mk 41

Sm2 in Mk41 or aster 30 in sylver a50 would be great, ihope we could get one of those
yup, i just think that if they don't want to redesign the hull for Sylver VLS, they still able to put those asters into Mk 41
plus Mk41 height is around +- 7.8-8 meter, they can put Syver A70 or A50 if they want to change it considering that it's height is 7 meters (A70) and 5 meters (A50)

Director of Flight and Work Safety of the Navy Aviation Center (Puspenerbal) Colonel of the Sea (P) Catur Sigit S, attended the 2021 Canada UAV Technology Virtual Forum, located in the Operational Control Center Room of Puspenerbal Juanda Sedati Sidoarjo, Wednesday (15/12/2021) . This activity was held by PT Napindo Media Ashatama virtually.

As resource persons for the Canada UAV Technology Virtual Forum, companies from Canada include CTS (Canadian Technology System), General Dynamics, Micro Pilot, Pegasus and Skycope and Synergy Aviation LTD.

Also present at the Canada UAV Technology Virtual Forum, Dirlambangja Puspenerbal, Army Chief of Staff, Head of Research and Development of the Ministry of Defense and Representatives of the 51st Squadro (UAV) of the Indonesian Air Force.

The event started with a presentation by all representatives from companies who came to take part in Vicon to explain all the advantages of the products they offer and also mention every characteristic of the companies that carry out activities in the UAV field themselves, so that they can establish cooperation in the defense sector of the Indonesian State. .

The Director of Flight and Work Safety of Puspenerbal (Dirlambangja) Marine Colonel (P) Catur Sigit S, said that Puspenerbal is currently very aggressively developing the use of UAVs in operational tasks.

Chess continued, his familiar greeting during the question and answer session, asking whether the LX 300 can be flown in all weather conditions considering the tropical climate in Indonesia which is different from Canada, and can be used when the KRI convoy is carried out and whether it will be disturbed by the signal emitted by the KRI, and can upgraded to a combatant drone that can be armed, he said.

Meanwhile, GDMS conveys that for the LX300 to be able to operate in all terrain and all weather, the LX300 can be upgraded to a Combatant Drone but still in accordance with the maximum weight offered. For signal interference, there is no problem because the LX300 has been used in the Canadian Navy and so far there have been no problems

What happen to Schiebel camcopter ?

Anyway makes me wonder on what platform does we intent to attach this drone into ? Maybe part of Martadinata rotary wing element ?

Others than the payloads Its have more like F-35 capability with sharing data

our future surface combatant definitely will had much more spacious hangar area.

i don't know what happened with the schiebel one though, from on paper specification, this thing can carry much more payload weight with the same endurance as that schiebel.

Iirc, the navy are interested in Schiebel C-Copter years ago, seems they did not push through the plan and decide to adopt the LX 300 instead.

Could this data links be used to guide Exocet beyond the radar horizon to maximize its full range potential? Iirc, the longest ranged shot achieved by ASEAN navy is around 100km from the Royal Thai Navy a few months ago.
