Just finished those reverse engineering ASHM project first, they would be prove of our portofolio capability in modern missile design and production, and Made them capable to be launched from Naval, ground and aerial platform. After that i am very sure, there would be countries who like to propose more of their joint project with us.

++++

KCR 45 KRI 645 Surik got their 30 mm Seahawk MSI -DSLW 30 gun, previously they only armed with manual operated 20 mm gun, two HMG and two C705 AShM. My bet is just as instructed by the MoD the Navy can't order more 30 CIWS gun from either Russia or China anymore.

No, this particular variant is LW variant, can't be equipped with LMM

Both LW variants (A1 & A2) can be equipped with LMM missile.

Quote :

"Trunnion module mounting point allows for additional modules to be equipped in addition to the main armament, such as:
  • Long Range Acoustic Device
  • Laser Dazzler
  • Dual LMM missile pack
  • Coaxial 7.62mm option"

- LW A2 : https://www.msi-dsl.com/products/seahawk-lw/

Yes, LW A1 & DS A1 (not the DS30B, not yet proven/tested) that TNI-AL use support LMM integration, but the navy need to upgrade them with dedicated sensor suite (instead of the current coaxial one) and lose 200rds of ammo (from the current 400rds capacity).

  • KRI Alamang (644) with OTO Marlin WS 30
  • KRI Surik (645) with MSI-DS LW A1
  • KRI Siwar (646) with OTO Marlin WS 30

Buy from 1 vendor in high quantity to get license to make it locally ❌

Buy from many vendors in small quantity and get no ToT other than ganti oli ✅

Previously i heard we pursue local production for NG 18 CIWS, hence a rather larger number we bought not only for clurit class but also for future KCR 60 at the time and also for other our warships, this is one package for other local production aka license agreement for C705 and Rhan projects hence come MLRS from China in marine corps inventory. But there is some problem in which happened in the long term negotiation and also regarding some sensitive stuff we don't have need of them

Possible visualization of Polish Navy Arrowhead 140PL. Notice the SM-400 and a rather unique placement of her SSM. It is said that construction of the first frigate scheduled to begin in August 2023, or almost a year and half since the contract announcement (March 2022).

Jakarta signing contract for FREMM in june 2021

Jakarta signing preliminary /preparation contract for two Itver Huitveld class in April 2020 and since November last year finalized contract with Babcock for license

Meanwhile Spain signing contract for F110 class Frigates in 2019 and only now started to build

Seems western design warships is taking longer time to prepare for build
yes, designing warship for tropical country was more difficult, needs more complex HVAC system due to humidity

Change rbs with nsm/exocet, and add more vls for LRSAM, or used half of the camm slot for LRSAM, it would be perfect

Need to modif the ship for more VLS. From the picture above she only have 4x8 cells VLS, while ours will be having 3x8 cells (MR-SAM) + 4x8 cells (LR-SAM) + 2x8 cells SSM.
