30% of contract value will be for local partner he said. What local company other than PT PAL that can contribute to this submarine project? We still can't produce the steel material for submarine, much less the devices/hardwares inside submarine.
cilacap welder.. as usual TKDN portion will just be filled with local manpower and local project management team

Interesting. Hanwha claimed Indonesian submarine used their CMS. Was it used in the refitted Cakra & Nanggala at South Korea in 2004? When Nanggala parts were found, there're lots of her hardwares in Korean writing, so most likely it's.

Now this's what I mean as ToT for TKDN. Korea successfully developed and produced their own submarine hardwares locally.
aren't during jokowi and prabowo visit to Alugoro show that, it used Kongsberg MSI-90U mk2 CMS instead ?

He said cakra and nanggala.
cakra and nanggala was known to use MSI-90u mk2 too, it would be weird if they refitted/upgrade it with unproven system yet...., the picture also show it happened on 2015 timeline onwards.

The original CMS is replaced, very likely using korean CMS.

I kinda curious...
Does Navy/MoD have any plan or thought about implementing some kind of module(like stanflex/LCS's mission module) to our OPV???
I think it'll be great if they have the capability to quick and easily convert to a fully combat ready vessel when the situation escalate into dangerous level rather than keeping them as oversized patrol vessel...
Or maybe the usual FFBNW methods is fast enough???

The news link does mentioned about the procurement plan for the subs support ship and subs rescue ship. It also mentioned that safety system in our existing subs fleet has been upgraded. safety system and technologies has apparently become high priority ever since the 402 on the eternal patrol.

Why bother choosing one between AIP & Li-ion of German or France submarine when you can get both AIP & Li-ion at the same time by choosing Korean DSME2000 submarine? Not to mention the AIP & Li-ion technology has been applied to Korean navy's submarines, so there's lower risk of being a lab rat like the previous project 😜

DSME2000
AIP & Li-ion in one submarine ✅
Applied & proven ✅

Did AH changed agency to be a Korean salesman now?

I don't remember RoKN operating that model
