What i am trying to convey here is . Don't sell our selves shorts . We could also make things like other's do ... But , it takes time and efforts . A massive's one . Because technological advancement doesn't simply just fall's out of the sky ...
And let start that first step with a reformation on our educational system ...
I had enough with the all of these " sastra teknik " allready .... 🤦🤦

It's a good video overall. But I'm really curious about the barrel manufacturing. Of course, it only makes sense that Pindad already could make their own assault rifle barrels from raw materials, but then what about the rumors(?) saying that we still need to import them from abroad?

Texelis, PT SSE sign agreement to develop armoured personnel carrier

Texelis will supply its Celeris 4×4 chassis – pictured above – to Indonesia's PT SSE to develop a new armoured personnel carrier. (Texelis)

French vehicle chassis manufacturer Texelis and Indonesian vehicle manufacturer PT Sentra Surya Ekajayais (PT SSE) have signed a partnership agreement to develop an armoured personnel carrier (APC) for the Indonesian National Armed Forces.

According to a press release by Texelis on 15 February, the company will supply an undisclosed number of Celeris 4×4 chassis kits to PT SSE and will also provide “complete development and support package to customise the mobility solution [chassis] for PT SSE's needs” as part of the agreement.

The Celeris 4×4 chassis features 12 base kits including axle, powerpack, transmission, transfer case, steering system, and so on. According to Texelis, the chassis also comprises 30 optional kits depending on the configuration of the vehicle.

Under this partnership agreement, Texelis will deliver the initial kits for the Celeris 4×4 chassis to PT SSE in the first half of 2024 and the first prototype of the APC is expected to roll out before the end of 2024.

Deliveries of the remaining series of kits will take place in 2025, Texelis said.

“Under the Texelis Celeris programme, an experienced original equipment manufacturer (OEM) can produce a new prototype of a new vehicle in less than a year and qualification can then start with the support of Texelis, which may set the full programme target at 18 months from order,” it added.

The Celeris chassis reportedly weighs 4.5 tonnes including tyres, and it can accommodate vehicles with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) ranging from 13 to 18 tonnes.

Minister of Transportation Appreciates Two Products Developed by PT DI

f6dbe841-ee58-4d85-a633-650651ab866a.jpeg

The Minister of Transportation visited the PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PT DI) exhibition stand and appreciated two products being developed by PT DI, namely the N219 and Vela Alpha aircraft.

Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi said Vela Alpha was suitable as an air taxi operating in big cities. Currently, the drone with a configuration of one pilot and four passengers does not yet have an operating permit. However, PTDI has submitted a flightworthiness test to the Directorate of Airworthiness & Aircraft Operations (DKPPU) of the Ministry of Transportation.

"Hopefully the flightworthiness test application process for the Vela Alpha can run smoothly," said Budi when visiting the PTDI booth on the sidelines of the event which was located at the Changi Exhibition Center, Singapore.

If you look at the Vela Alpha release video on the Vela Aero YouTube account, on February 19, the product is designed for vertical take-off landing (VTOL). With eight battery packs, the Vela Alpha will have two versions, namely one with a pure electric engine and a hybrid.

The drone with the 'flying car' concept is claimed to be able to take passengers from downtown Jakarta to Soekarno Hatta International Airport in Tangerang in just 8 minutes. This speed exceeds the travel time for an airport train which is around 44 minutes, or a car which takes a minimum of one hour, not counting traffic jams. Vela also provides luggage space behind the drone's passenger seat.

Through its official website, Vela Aero, which was only founded in 2020, ensures that their drones are safe from the risk of failure to fly. Moreover, the Vela Alpha is equipped with nine electric motors. “The bike features a multi-lane architecture that adheres to the highest safety standards, demonstrating our commitment to advancing the future of air mobility.”

Canard control for Rhan 200 TC, the enlarged version will be used for the RHan-450BM

After the completion of RHan-122 CB, seems like ORPA is moving on to Rhan-127 (to fill the need for 127mm rocket for ASTROS II)
