this is literally what i fear when first heard about A400m procurement.
that depends actually on what indonesia will do with their autonomous right of CN-235, if they decide to not doing anything with it (developing new variants or derivative design with higher payload etc), then this a400m procurement will go to waste.

The biggest problem is its "chair", I don't think anyone can survive that.

What's concerning here is that they did it WITHOUT combat (or even normal) condition. The hull is not fully completed, it only got 1 passenger seat placed. No sign of the exhaust, it means that it's probably engineless. The weapon cupola at the left side is absent too, and no weapon is equipped. These absence of equipment would mean different weight, center of gravity, and spall/splinter behavior inside the cabin.

So the safeness of the vehicle, even if the test was considered passed, should not be expected at the original combat condition.

The explosion lifted the hull quite badly (although this may be because it's not combat weight), is clearly because it has no blast deflection capability considering its flat hull.

Explosion tests are usually done like this with bare hulls and without equipment.
They should have measured some data, recorded video from the inside, and missing weight compensated by weight blocks added to the hull to provide same CoG as the product.

Infoglobal Signs MoU with PTDI, Develops Mission Surveillance System for N219 MSA Aircraft

Infoglobal-202112081607.jpg

President Director of Infoglobal, Adi Sasongko and Director of Commerce, Technology & Technology Development Gita Amperiawan sign an MoU on the integration of the Maritime Surveillance Aircraft (MSA) mission system for the N219 aircraft (08/12/2021)

Infoglobal and PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding cooperation in the integration of the Maritime Surveillance Aircraft (MSA) mission system on the N219 aircraft. The MoU document was signed by Adi Sasongko as President Director of Infoglobal and Gita Amperiawan as Director of Commerce, Technology & Development of PTDI, in Production Zone II PTDI, Bandung.

With this cooperation, the N219 aircraft will be developed with a special design as a maritime surveillance aircraft or MSA. The Infoglobal Mission System which had previously been installed on the NC212 Maritime Patrol (Patmar) aircraft will be further developed for use on the N219 MSA aircraft produced by PTDI.

According to Gita Amperiawan, Director of Commerce, Technology & Development of PTDI, the purpose of this collaboration is to collaborate with the national industry in the aircraft sector.

“First, the big goal of this MoU is of course to collaborate with two national industries, for competence in the aircraft sector in this case PTDI and competence in the field of mission systems in this case Infoglobal to produce an aircraft product with mission surveillance system capabilities that can be utilized by the nation. this”, said Gita.

In addition, the N219 aircraft is expected to penetrate the market with various variants, including MSA.

"Secondly, this is part of how PTDI's product, the N219 aircraft can enter the market with various variants, which we previously knew together that N219 could be used for passenger, medevac, cargo, with this collaboration N219 in the future could be for MSA missions, both for military and commercial as well. Later, of course, the Feasibility Study (FS) will be made based on needs. We are optimistic that from the FS, we are quite prospective,” he added.

Infoglobal's President Director, Adi Sasongko added that Infoglobal's Mission System can add value to the N219 aircraft's TKDN and is expected to meet the needs of the MSA market, especially domestically. “It is hoped that in the future the TKDN will also be higher, supported by domestic component industries. We are sure that this collaboration will start a new, more realistic chapter of making aircraft with more and more domestic components. The first target market is domestic first, later after this we can sell a lot overseas,” added Adi Sasongko, President Director of Infoglobal.

The Infoglobal mission system is a product made by the nation's children, which has various features to strengthen the N219 aircraft's ability to monitor maritime areas, including the detection and identification of ship targets, the ability to calculate dynamic target positions, speeds and headings which can then display the route. SAR and send surveillance results to the KRI or the nearest ground station, so that surveillance missions on the N219 aircraft can be carried out effectively.

Vice President PM & K3LH PT Pindad (Persero), Prima Kharisma said the explosive-resistant structure of the Anoa-2 6x6 mine was specially prepared to apply the level of protection of the minefield on the ground.

Protection in the form of adding adds on in the form of a V-shape under the vehicle floor between the middle and rear wheels which is explained

"In the explosion test, the concept here is how we increase the ballistic protection of the Anoa-2 Ranpur by adding a V-shape for the explosion-resistant structure, later we can see the comparison before and after detonation."

"Then hopefully we will verify together in accordance with NATO STANAG 4569, especially for burried mine threats or mines with various parameters to be measured," said Prima Kharisma.

Strength Test, 8 Kg TNT Mine Detonated Under the Hull of Anoa's Combat Vehicle

Testing and certification also aims to obtain material test data that can be used as material to increase the capability of mine-resistant mines on land in the future.

Director of Technology & Development of PT Pindad (Persero) Sigit P Santosa said that Pindad in collaboration with ITB has been able to master renewable technology and has produced patents and scientific publications.

"We have produced three patents along with scientific publications that have been published," he said.

The specifications for the mock-up of the Anoa-2 6x6 mine used in the explosion test refer to the technical specifications of the existing Anoa-2 product. Currently Anoa has a weight of 14.5 tons, dimensions of length 6 M, width 2.5 M, height 2.150 M and is installed with runflat tires (donut type). The mock-up is also equipped with an additional armor V-shape with an Anoa-2 6x6 armor that weighs around 160 Kg.

I wouldn't say that V-shape though, only SEMI V-shape (semi-angled hull). It doesn't look like Bushmaster or Casspir hull.

Well, since Pindad used Kozak 2M hull as parameter, it is no wonder they call it V-hull

Using the same reference, Badak should be V-hull

Yes, I expected this argument, these are called control variables, it is used in experimental tests. It still would not reflect actual (in combat) performance.

I wonder what makes them different from these 2016 ToT with Avibras

In term of performance is not different if we see the distance, even without Avibras we can still reach more than 31 kilometer. This TOT should be audited by third party but my assumption is that Avirbras TOT is more on mass production technology transfer, making the production process much more efficient.
