Seriously, modern Turkey people especially one who live near and around Istanbul and west Coast is lot look like Southern European to me.

Yes well looking at history, its not hard to see why. I bet even some Hittite DNA markers stays among anatolians.

I have lot of dravidian (ASI) genetics in me too (alongside "indo-aryan" aka ANI), the former is simply the people that have long lived in the area I am from and over time ANI migrations and contact arrived....and some level of fusion or replacement w.r.t culture/language can happen depending on scenario (and this influence your identity w.r.t nation etc)....but it wont alter underlying population genetics quite so much.

Thus its why you see not much genetic difference between lot of Turks and say Greeks....historically all one need to do is read say the Illiad....and look where Troy was. Invasions and migrations all overlay their bit downstream, but its not so drastic change overall.

Italian DNA (whatever that is considering that Italy is also a huge melting pot of all kinds of people- from Etruscans, to Greeks, Latins, Germanics, Arabs, Anatolians, Phonecians, Celts and even Bulgars that settled in parts of Italy in the 7th century) in many Turks is nothing too strange considering that Anatolia have been a Roman stronghold for 1500 years and is a place where some of the most important cities in the Empire were.
On the other hand it is believed that the Trojans after their defeat fled to Italy and even Romulus and Remus were Trojans themselves.

The story of how they have been nurtured by a she- wolf sounds pretty similar to Turkic mythology too. 😁

Middle Eastern DNA is Basically Arab DNA while West Asia is Turkey and Iran regions but i think this excludes Persians though, its more likely to involve Iranian Azeris.

Yeah but that was more done in hindsight by Virgil to make the "Aeneid" more appealing.

Virgil (and Romans of his time) looked down upon the Greeks (who they had now conquered + dominated since battle of corinth)...somewhat severely.

They also recognised the massive Greek soft power on Roman culture formation (at the highest levels especially) that could not really be squelched/reinvented now....so to balance and counter that (and argue for Roman dominance and superiority) a connection was indeed made with the seemingly much more honourable Trojans (if you read the intricacies of this regarding this in the original Illiad).

It is not without reason that Homer left out (or it simply didnt exist at story at the time) the Trojan horse episode from his canon/writing (or how exactly the Trojans even were defeated at the end, merely the defeat is talked about in future tense/imgaery)...rather it was the Aeneid (and thus Virgil) that specifically brings up the story to show the Greeks had to resort to guile/cunning/unfairness on what they could not achieve on the battleground.

It is likely apocryphal basis in the end (the whole Romulus Remus story at large)....given the time between Troy's (near utter) destruction and the archaeological studies governing that..... and then the first formation of Roman kingdoms (and why, that story also has a lot to do with Greeks and Macedonians too).

I’m waiting for a day when Gundams are inducted as weapons in JSDF 😍.

Damn look at what just one dude does:

I enjoyed this comment:

World : Trying to make a vaccine
Japan : Getting prepared for the real stuff

===================

This particular one reminds me of grimlock from transformers though....

I always liked Grimlock (probably the most actually lol in TFU)

He had a realness to him compared to boy-scout goody-goody optimus:

Similar reason I always appreciated Batman over Superman, but no doubt Superman is the most powerful by far out of the two.

Jame May actually used that thing in his small miniseries where he travels Japan.

Years ago, i saw a video on the net. Guys, was jumping to sea like this however his feet slip while jumping. And he hit face (not the entire head) to the edge of concrete basement. Result was, his face split open, lost both eyes, nose, and mouth and face. But we was still living in the E.R.(don't know if he lived or not)...so...really don't try this.

Edit: Found the video. Watch it on your own peril, it's really very disturbing.

Bad reactions, including nausea, have been reported by those viewing the video, and a lot of people who watched this video are saying that they are sorry that they watched it, so please take appropriate precautions if you are sensitive or get traumatized easily.

I read this part first when reading random paragraphs on the source.

The physician is focusing on holding his face together, possibly in order to protect the airway. Critics say the doctor is "playing" with the face, and no doctor would do that, but I don't think he is playing with it. I think he's trying to fix it.

Yeaahhh, well, i saw quite some gore videos and i would say im not easily shocked but i think i will pass this one.

Best, to not watch it. I watched this some many years ago without any warnings and it shock me deeply. Didn't watch this time, eventhough i posted the link.

Youre right tha gore videos can be a big shocker and turn your stomach, but some of them can be true life saver.

Never ever will someone convince me to jump from a cliff, never ever will i proceed to work on defect machine, because there are videos where people got shreded by it

ST Marine's sovereign class frigate.

Could be a little bit more creative instead of copying Turkish I-class, Ada-class.
Not just resemblance but dimensions, position of RAM, position of FCR, second mast after exhaust funnel, position of funnel and placement, side-stepped platforms on side of hangar + position of RWS,, space between VLS-supper structure (filled with additional systems), probably they have copied bulkhead plan as well by the assumptions made from the 3D's.

And now the Aussies are even saltier and foul than normal (from all the crickey thats a big'un critters), coz we thumped them at Cricket on their own turf quite handily...that too with our "B" team as well hehe.

I'd avoid them for a while altogether if possible hehe
