That's interesting.

I do use ginger a lot, particularly with carrot, but in general cooking besides; in Indian cooking, except specifically religion-bound dishes, ginger and garlic are both used.

Ginger tea is famous, but I would like to try more ginger in general food and see how it works.

My dad cut garlic for me lmaoo

Saying its good for you especially during covid quarantine.

Man is this how bad she was?

Damn!!

when that putin lackey (medvedchuk) was captured by ukraine....a buddy of mine suggested these essentials to extract info out of him (im quoting him word for word):

OK, I need some admin supplies.

Duct Tape, CHECK!
Jumper cables, CHECK!
Fresh Sears DieHard Battery, CHECK!
Hollaback Girl, the complete works of Yoko Ono, CSPAN, and a three-hour discussion of Michael Foucault's Madness and Civilization by two grungy wannabe filmmakers searching for existentialism through a haze of bong smoke, CHECK!

I would like to arrange some kayaking, rafting or perhaps canyoning and climbing for my adrenaline mad 11 year old son Tom. We are planning to spend a week in Bled
Has anyone got any good experiences of activities from Bled that will help me decide?
life trek seems to be the agency that organises these things. Has anyone used them? I do want to make sure that they are safety aware and the equipment is up to scratch.

Many thanks in advance
I was at the lake a long time ago and it is beautiful. About kayaking, I don't know. Is it Bled in Slovenia?

This photo may look like a random one from somewhere in the Western Ghats of India, but it lies on an important ridge. Pity I don't have a photo of the ridge itself as I was standing on it while I clicked the photo. This ridge is located near Sakleshpur in Karnataka. Any rainfall that falls to the west of this ridge will flow into the Arabian sea about 120 kms away. Any rainfall that falls to the east of this ridge (pictured in the photo) flows into the Bay of Bengal 700 kms away. The slope of the Deccan plateau is eastwards hence even major rivers like Godavari and Kaveri that originate in the western ghats drain into the Bay of Bengal after traversing hundreds of kms. Just a few inches makes a difference where the water ends up! This ridge is by no means unique in what it does. The entire ghat is like that. It was just a point marked so by the authorities, and it caught my attention.

the equator/compass thing is a hoax. Apparently compasses work best at the equator. But I am no expert at these things.
