And now the Aussies are even saltier and foul than normal (from all the crickey thats a big'un critters), coz we thumped them at Cricket on their own turf quite handily...that too with our "B" team as well hehe.

I'd avoid them for a while altogether if possible hehe

(j/k @Webslave )

@Saiyan0321 Gabba streak was broken hehe...

Lolzzz it was a stellar display and when you play good, you deserve to be praised and it was an exceptional victory. Well done to the Indian players as some truly stood out and forward when the chips were down.

Thanks...a part of me dies each time when someone says Test Cricket is boring haha. That whole final day kept me pretty glued...you never knew what was really going to happen for bulk of it, you just had to see it through. Late night for me heh.

I hate spiders so much!!!

In my bathroom a redback appears. You know I barely use public toilets especially in parks not because they are dirty but also due to my fear of spiders.

In 2am a redback is in my bathroom I killed it with a hammer!! Far out its like I dodged a bullet.

I fcking hate spiders!!! Especially the ones we have in this country!!

Well that explains it. You can't survive straya without vegemite.

*sings the vegemite song*
It's called - and packaged - as Marmite in India. Obviously, because the non-veg equivalent, Bovril, is unlikely ever to sell even the contents of one crate.

You completely distracted me. Here I was, at 1:30 in the morning, toasting a slice of bread, to smear the tip of a knife of Marmite over it.

<slurp> Be right back.

What is your favorite household item that can be used as a mobile phone stand?

Find that one item in your house and have the phone stand that you can have for free.

I will tell mine after a minimum of 3 responses.

It's painful to see, all this effort going down the drain. :)

Honestly its not even effort wasted, it is effort provided to help my (and others) cause with more neutral fence-sitters on various issues w.r.t CCP (who all have natural aversion to cringe that can be utilised).

“When someone attacks you, he gives you a present of his strength. To make use of this gift you must know how to receive it.” - Yukiso Yamamoto

You see, push comes to shove, there are folks and larger societies that understand underlying importance of disciplines like Aikido, Judo etc and the deeper local philosophy that comes from (a more particular form to their own culture/nation w.r.t debate and argument).

i.e How opponent energy can be harnessed and used.

There arealso inevitably ones that do not understand this and always get stuck in idle brittle (punch blindly in same direction because you feel big enough) mode...because mental faculties are just hardwired that way due to number of reasons I won't go into here.

Suffice to say they are indoctrinated and inertial w.r.t the totalitarian thought process (or similar) inculcated.

It hasn't permeated entirely to whole society thankfully, but it is particularly intense in some of them.

If you understand and know this phenomenon like the back of your hand...it becomes far simpler how to focus time and be efficient in handling them (i.e your time is at the premium, theirs is not).

You often have to actually come across han-supremacist cringe-meatheads (either part of govt, bureaucracy, security apparatus... or general citizenry/commerce that idolize these three to some off-putting level) in real life to really understand this.

In real life they can be the type that double deal and/or insult you and/or do the typical clownish or boorish act (like they have attempted number of instances with me, being dark skinned clear foreigner at first glance).

All it takes (in my case w.r.t individuals that are within my suitable purview for a response) is just a few lines of Cantonese as you leave (playing further on their assumption you don't know any Mandarin...and then leave that for next if they try being lippy some more) and it is quite delectable to see their jaw drop and expression change. esp. given their inability to do this in reverse. But opportunity is quite rare to do this for most....and quite impossible in the internet where you lose all situational context and opportunity.

Hong Kongers have come up with some very creative names for this particular CCP-mainlander type, which I will not share here in interest of forum rules...lot of it involves eggs and heads being heavy.

Winnie the pooh incident was just a tiny one that global audience latched onto...but once you are more in tune to the culture at large and at deep enough level, there is huge amount of low hanging fruit to fling a meatheads way.

Totalitarians (and those dependent on them or brainwashed by them) think of catching such fruit in another way, they think if they squeeze it hard enough it can be controlled and act all emotional when it instead slips through their fingers.
Then they will say they meant that all along...and double down on it in whatever way.

They are very archetype of a non-elevated mind....subconciously it rests quite badly on them. Like all bad behaviour patterns, its often case of upbringing....little to be done.

There are good mainlander chinese folks in PRC (past HK where I have most of my childhood friends) and beyond that I find worthy to call friends....but they understand what the meatheads are about and are resigned to managing them.

So there is little time left for better folks like that to do multi-foruming, especially in English. It is very mutually exclusive in general....a catch 22 in forming impression about the larger country.
