"If the bombing of Gaza does not stop, we will cut off gas supplies to the world," said Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani

The Qatari authorities are threatening to create a global gas shortage as part of their support for Palestine.

Now it's obvious Russian and Iranian national interests.

Stop posting fake news

I think we may see preemptive strikes against IRGC positions in the area. Israel struck targets in Aleppo and Damascus based on intelligence about Iranian weapons deliveries.

Earlier today we got information about intense recruiting activities by the IRGC in the area of Deir Ez-Zor for possible confrontation around the situation in Gaza.
As reported earlier large scale IRGC recruitment took place in Deir Ez-Zor. US tanker was circling above Al-Bukamal but no strikes occured.

Now there is credible information that a group of Hashdi Shaabi from Iraq was transfered to Damascus, Sayyda Zaynab area.

Which Hashd groups?
I'm going to laugh if it's the one Ersat is associated with

Unless Hamas takes over a nuclear power plant and causes a meltdown like Chernobil this won’t change much for Palestine. Because of the wests support and mindset. It’ll change nothing yet accelerate the death of Palestina.
What is crazy about Western financial support for Israel is how miniscule it is in the grand scheme of our economies. Here is an example. The United States, is by far, the largest military backer of Israel, sending them about $3.5 billion in military aid each year. $3.5 billion sounds like a large number, but it's actually peanuts. How small of a number is it in reality? During a 2 year period, my country (Canada) spends about $4 Billion each week on entitlement programs (welfare, healthcare, disability, tax credit payments, pensions, etc). That's literally each week. We have an economy that is almost exactly 10x smaller than that of the United States. We spent $600 Billion in two years paying people to stay at home during Covid-19. $3.5 Billion usd is literally peanuts to the USA. They spend $850-$900 Billion usd annually on their own defense. When you include adjacent agencies that don't technically count as defense that number balloons over $1 Trillion.

Mind bogling numbers and it puts into perspective how little they actually send Israel compared to what they could send.

I doubt that report about Iranian proxy recruiting in Deir ez Zor (DeZ), , DeZ locals are no fan of Iran, so what does it mean when they say IRGC started recruiting Dez to be sent into Lebanon? Recently the Arab tribes in DeZ have also been busy fighting the SDF.

The most likely interpretation is that IRGC is moving their Iraqi proxies via Dez, moving through the M20 highway near Tadmur towards Sukhna, Damascus and finally reaching for Lebanon.

This comes after the US Navy stationed their Ford CSG near the coast of Haifa to "prevent third actors widening the conflict". Makes sense, some kind of Hezbollah tit-for-tat not only in Lebanon but also in Iraq where there are U.S forces stationed there as part of D-ISIS task force.

Ironically as both sides are making their moves as deterrence to prevent widening the conflict, they're inching closer to war

By saying Deir Ez-Zor I had to clarify that I mean the Regime controlled areas west of Euphrates. IRGC started forming anti-SDF forces not long ago. Recruitment happened there.

In terms of understanding the dynamics I will post a short summary quoting a separate article:

"Iran used the importance of the tribal lineage in this community as a start to infiltrate, especially the Hashemite tribes that have a historical connection to the Ahl al-Bayt, or the descendants of Prophet Muhammad, such as the al-Baggara, Mashahda, and al-Marasima tribes who all supported Iranian-backed militias.

Tribal loyalty contributed in strengthening the Iranian influence in Deir ez-Zor in areas west of the Euphrates. Those tribes believe that joining the Iranian side is better than the Syrian government, who failed to win them over."

So here's the thing

>>Israel basically said to Iran that they're going to cut Iran's finger in Palestine forever this time, when they said they're going to dismantle HAMAS forever. Even though Sunni, HAMAS is some sort of Iran's "ally" in Palestine, an anomaly because the rest of Iran's proxies is Shia.
>>Hezbollah kills 2 Israeli soldiers in ATGM attack in return.
>>Israel retaliate by bombing 2 Syrian airports yesterday, the likely message is : Don't try anything while we cut your finger in Palestine or else your finger in Syria isn't safe either
>>Ford CSG sent to the Eastern Med, to prevent third party (Hezbollah) from widening the conflict and profiteer from the war.
>>Iran won't budge so start threatening U.S forces in Iraq and Syria by posting readiness images of their Iraqi arm/proxies, and the usual oral threat
>> those very same proxies are now (reportedly) on their way to Lebanon.
>>Now there's a civilian evac in Southern Lebanon
Also post their AShM...because you know, the Ford CSG
So what's the bet here ?

“They could rebel, fight against the regime.”
The President of Israel declared the responsibility of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
“This rhetoric that civilians are not involved is incorrect. This is absolutely not true. They could rebel, they could fight against this evil regime that took over Gaza in a coup,” said President Isaac Herzog.

Ukrainians should rebel against the Zelensky openly pro- neo Nazi regime as well using this very justification. But they won't anyway.

It's always funny seeing people trying to justify the kind of mental retardation that the Israeli government comes up with.

An interesting piece by Andrew Axuum a retired U.S army officer and ME scholar about Israel, Iran, Hamas and Hezbollah.

In summary:

1. While the IDF professional core is extremely polished and capable, the Israeli army is and remains a conscript/reservists-based army, the reservists are neither particularly well trained nor well disciplined by American standards.
2. Today Israel faces highly disciplined and motivated nonstate foes in southern Lebanon and the Palestinian territories, and its military does not seem to have a clear advantage over them at the unit level.
3. The segregation of Palestinians and the erection of walls helped the IDF to be in the dark about HAMAS movements.
4. The few Hezbollah fighters he met in 2006, for the most part, as motivated, well-trained, and disciplined. Those who fought in the 2006 war with Israel retained a certain amount of wary respect for the U.S. military but held their Israeli adversaries in contempt. They had seen Israeli soldiers in action—and had not been impressed.
5. IDF has discipline issues,: In 2006, Hezbollah was able to locate Israeli positions by intercepting Israeli reservists calling home on their mobile phones.
6. Hezbollah fighters he interviewed also give little appreciation when it comes to Iran : "A friend of mine questioned a Hezbollah fighter after 2006 about the training he had received from Iran, and his interlocutor scoffed in reply, “Iran? When was the last time those guys won a war?”

Tunisia canceled the migrant deal with the EU. They announced that the sea borders are open for anyone who wants to cross to Europe.

While they can't deal with Libya alone, the whole Mediterranean will be flooded with migrants. I think we should be prepared to follow a similar policy. If the EU declares its support for a massacre, it cannot and must no longer be immune from the cost.
