To me it looks like Isreal is allowing the terror to flow into the streets to convince domestic sentiment that the arabs need to be removed. Isreal hasn't really retaliated which tells me they want this to happen. Because when they retaliate hundreds of jet fighters and armed drones are going to smoke target after target.

The Isreali politicians are talking in a way that a "final solution" is required to protect her citizens.

I guess that I didn’t explain myself well. What I wanted to say is that Hamas probably fires these rockets from a place which is with good visibility and probably more open- like a field, or a square or the roof of an apartment building etc.
I guess that a drone operator can easily identify and neutralize a threat like that.

Are these rockets so mobile and easy to shoot from absolutely everywhere in like a minute?

Honestly it is very non-ideal situation for Israel given this is the basic makeup:

How would you discriminate which car is carrying these to some launch site "on the way" to what could be just a regular civilian journey.

Israel relies heavily on HUMINT and SIGINT to take out hamas commanders...when such targets make themselves available in the ROE (i.e low or no collateral) Israel has chosen.

That is why Hamas counter for this w.r.t "open"/"blatant" nerve centre are those in/among hospitals/schools....they know they are safe there....as IDF will not create such collateral damage to get at them.

But there is no good or easy counter to 1 grand cost qassam that can be made in makeshift garages and such.

Iron dome is effective (it intercepts only ~ 30% to begin with in this current situation as it discriminates only those that are heading to inhabited area to save on interceptors).....about 90% of those it chooses to engage are succesful.

But iron dome interceptor costs like 40 grand each.

So 50 times more....so the cost differential between the offense and defence in this realm is very high.

If Israel could have targeted along chain lot more cheaply and effectively (launch sites), no doubt they would have.

So I think this is just fundamentally baked in in current setting.....these places are all highly urbanised and squished against each other.....so by brute evolution process, the stuff that works (w.r.t what you have and objectives) sifts it way to the top on both sides.

what did Palestinians do? Nothing except for recognising the so called Armenian genocide...

geopolitically speaking it makes no sense whatsoever for Turkey to be against Isreal not when nearly all middle eastern nations are against Turkey. But when you involve religion in politics you always do dumb things.

However, Isreal has grand ambitions that includes eventually annexing part of Turkey. That must always be taken into account when dealing with them. The Russians would use their misery against them and extract as many favours as possible from both sides like they did with Assad.

minorities are only a problem when your state structure is weak and heavily infiltrated. At the peak of Ottoman power the Turks were the minority within a multi ethnic/religious empire they created. No problems. Only when the state structure becomes weak then minorities become a problem because outside powers have a freehand to manipulate them.

Also Turks didnt treat their minorities the way the jews treat their arabs. Even the armenians before their revolt were exceptionally wealthy in Turkey and lived very well. Separatist minded Kurds should look at isreal to understand what ethnic oppression looks like instead of waving the Isreali flag everychance they get for the cameras.

To be fair the 5 million Syrian refugees in Turkey have more kids per year then the entire Turkish state of 85 million. It seems like killing arabs leaves you with more arabs in the end. Same thing happened to Iraq. Americans went in killed a few million, iraqi population only exploded.

Its clearly a genocide, the state sponsored and attempted complete cultural removal of the arabs as a people within Isreal. The fact we call it Israel and not Palestine is testament to that.

But my point was that the one ethnicity where killing millions of them only leads to having a bigger population is the Arabs. You kill an arab, the next arab has 3 children. You kill another arab the next arab has 5 children. The more Arabs are killed the more the ones who remain increases the number of kids. So when i see a chart of population growth concerning arabs it doesnt tell you the full story.

Just look at Iraqs constant population growth despite losing millions in multiple wars from the iran - iraq war to the recent american invasion.

But I think we can firmly all agree that this tragedy that has been playing in the West Asia for nearly century is direct product of one reason. The reason is what the late Professor Edward Said defined as the "European problem". Namely the 1000 year inability of Europeans to live in peace with their Jewish population.

The climax of this came with the Final Solution and the Wannsee Conferance. You see mass migration can only be driven broadly by two factors -

• 1 - economic forces such as the Irish famine
• 2 - persecution, genocide or war like the recent Syrian conflict

Ever since the defeat of the Ottoman Empire and Balfour declaration the Zionists had desperately been trying to get Jew to move to Palestine. But the numbers were inconsequential and would never been enough to carve out a state.

However thanks Adolph Hitler and his Final Solution factor [2] came into force. It triggered massive migration of Europeans from Poland, Russia, Belorussia, Ukraine etc to desperate voyage across the Mediteranean in exactly the reverse direction to what the Syrian refugees would take 70 years later.

That massive influx of Europeans to the shores of West Asia gave the numbers thus tipping critical mass and ensuring the birth of Israel few years later. Thus Adolph Hitler is still having his laugh. And the final rub in this is. Both the Jews and Arabs are Semites.

In the greatest irony of all Adolph Hitler has got the Semites killing each other. Meantime Europe luxeriates in glow of peace and civilization.

Most of the Jews sent to Palestine from Europe are Ashkenazi Jews who are mainly European converts (Germans, Poles, Russians, Greeks etc.. ) to Judaism
