Israel has blocked the Gaza Strip. Violence begets violence, this is the only way to characterize the situation in Israel and the Gaza Strip now. Israel is shelling residential areas in the Gaza Strip, Hamas is shelling residential areas in Israel. It is worth noting that Israeli strikes are more targeted, since they have modern weapons, but civilians in the Gaza Strip still suffer. Hamas uses homemade weapons, their accuracy is extremely low. Previously, Israel notified residents of the Gaza Strip about attacks on specific buildings, using the “Knock on the Roof” protocol to reduce the number of casualties, first launching a rocket at a target without a warhead, or notifying local residents with leaflets or SMS. This protocol has now been cancelled. The number of victims at the music festival became known, 260 people were killed, among them many citizens of other countries; why Hamas did this is not clear. Many people ask whether there will be sanctions against Israel, no, there will not be, since such actions of Hamas are condemned by the international community. Now regarding the situation, the Gaza Strip is blocked by the Israeli army, there is no electricity and no water supply. According to estimates from the ground, the Israeli army is displacing Hamas forces from the occupied territories, but in street battles, the Israeli army has significant losses. Hamas began to use MANPADS and homemade air defense systems, which made it difficult for Israeli aviation. Now people are trying to leave Israel; at Ben Gurion International Airport, which came under Hamas fire, chaos can be said to be happening. If you look at things realistically, Hamas will not be able to win this war, but the Gaza Strip will most likely now leave many residents and it will cease to be Palestinian territory. The Israeli leadership announced that there would be no negotiations with Hamas and that it would be destroyed.

Actually, had you read my post here, including the now-deleted ones. You would've known that this is what I'm hoping them to do as well as what I'm hoping the IDF to do in return.

Long-term gain for short-term pain.

Please do what you want to do, we will do what we want to do.
It's a given that Israel doesn't care for the people of Palestine, but it's genuinely sad that the Arab world doesn't care about them either. Particularly those countries (such as Iran) that fund Hamas and allow them to terrorize Israel, while hiding behind the Palestinians as de facto human shields.

So be it though. If Gaza must be turned to rubble and a humanitarian catastrophe must be the result to quell Hamas operations in the area, it will be what it will be.

It is indeed sad,... for now.

US cooperating with YPG in Syria is a different geopolitical game. Nothing about idolizing PKK as „heroes“ by official state institutions in the West.
Ah c'mon dude, a US general himself admitted that ypg is only rebranded pkk, he even said put the word democratic somewhere so it sounds positive.
The US bears the biggest responsibility for the conflicts in ME's recent history, close second are French and Brits who drew the borders like this intentionally to create a lasting conflict.

You‘re right, never noticed that really. Cause YPG was just the twin sister of PKK to me living in Syria.

They chose to attack not Israel but some stupid concert just to kill some ppl and took hostages from around the world and then they hide in Gaza. They wanted to start real fire and in that situation no one will defend them. Palestine had some support, its all gone now.
But HAMAS knew what they were doing and decided to sacrifice "their" people by doing that terrorist attack.
To watch some ppl celebrating terrorist attack on the streets are not helping too.
It is TOTALLY different to attack some base, kill some soldiers and whole another story to kill kids dancing on some festival and workers working hard to earn some money from Filipino or Nepal.

They don’t have high- tech weapons like F-35 or cruise missiles, like Israel has. With this weapons they would not attack any civilians. Israel has this weapons, and look what they do/did. It’s sad to be said, but this terror attack is the only way to survive.

Let biblical hell rain down in Gaza, the extent to which we've yet to see in the region. Put all of those military resources to extreme use over the next week. When you've turned the area into hell on earth, send in the ground forces to find anyone and everyone associated with Hamas and disappear them immediately.

It's going to take some large, bunker busting bombs to ensure that Israel can deeply shake the tunnel networks below Gaza. I'm here for it! Let the ordinance flow!
