I'm always shocked by what seems like a lot of money to people that live in that region. $7 billion, seems like so little in the grand scheme of things, similar to the $4 billion USA gives Israel every year.
For context, $3.4 Billion worth of trade (goods and services) crosses the USA / Canada border EVERY DAY. That's $1.2 Trillion in trade each year.
