Israeli forces are transitioning to the third phase of their operations in the northern Gaza Strip, which will very likely enable Hamas to reconstitute itself militarily.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that it withdrew five brigades from the northern Gaza Strip on December 31. This reduction in forces is part of what the IDF has described as its third phase in the strip, which also involves ending major combat operations, releasing reservists, transitioning to “targeted raids,” and establishing a security buffer zone within the Gaza Strip. Israeli forces have degraded several Hamas units and rendered others combat ineffective, particularly in the northern Gaza strip, since the beginning of the clearing operations. But Hamas’ military forces are neither defeated nor destroyed at this time. Decreased Israeli pressure would, in fact, allow Hamas to rebuild its military capabilities and infrastructure. Hamas maintains a conventional military structure, meaning that it should be able to quickly replace commanders who have died in the war. Several recently killed Hamas battalion and brigade commanders had led their units for many years, suggesting that they had the ability and time to develop successors to take their place. Such reconstitution is inconsistent with the stated Israeli war aims, which are to destroy Hamas militarily and politically.

@Bogeyman @Kartal1 @Gary @Sanchez Looks like Hamas will survive this round. But also, it is obvious Israel doesn't have any real solution so far. Targeted raids and security buffer zone are a mean to and end. Not the end itself. And I don't think the ultimate political objective of destroying Hamas can be achieved within this phase iii framework.
They have some level of area control already. Now they will most probably try to consolidate and while keeping their ground they will most probably concentrate on the tunnels. As I said before this is a very hard task. Cleansing those tunnels with the means we know till now is almost impossible. The tunnel operations and the success in cutting the logistics and communications there will be of critical importance.

They know very well that this will not be an easy fight. They need the chaos and international support so they can become even more brutal in their means. The last surgical operations are a sign that they try to provoke a larger conflict. I am sure that after they create the chaos they will try to move the Palestinians out of Gaza forcefully. They know that as long as there are Palestinians in Gaza there will be resistance and knowing their pragmatic approach they will try to solve the problem from the root. The danger of a regional war is real and all sides must be very careful in their actions.

Two blasts, so doubt it's accident. Unlikely to be Israeli. Probably Afghan. Thing is pushed by whom.
We most probably talk about ISKP. They went on expansion campaign moving further west. While they expand they also try to tell us "Hey, we are here and stronger".

Last year I think in June ISKP attacked the same place resulting in 13 killed and 40 wounded. Last year in September, Iranian services arrested 28 ISKP terrorists preparing 30 explosions at multiple locations in Iran.

According to Iranian sources briefcases were used in the attack and this is a method of ISKP that was used before in Afghanistan.

IS terrorists were caught before attacks in the last couple of months in Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, Spain, Austria, Germany and India. We also know about multiple arrests in two series of operations in Turkiye. This may be a part of a series of operations planned all around the world that are aimed at being sensational, bringing attention to them again. With their expansion in the Sahel and Central Asia we knew that something like that may happen. They really need the posturing.

"The Second Israel? Israelis Are Streaming Into Cyprus to Buy Anything in Sight"

Turkish Cypriots are in big big trouble in the coming decades. They see what happened to Palestine and their allowing exact the same shit to happen to them. While all this is taking place the psudo islamists of Turkey are silent, in fact they cover it up.

And the arrogance of zionists on show again "the second Isreal" its not enough to live somewhere, they have to claim it as Isreal. Bi trouble is on the horizen and Turks of Turkey, you lose control of northern cyprus and your entire southern coastline is vulnerable.

Turkish cypriots are already a minority compared to Anatolian immigrants anyway. They have already lost their island. It's a mainland Turkey problem.

As expected.

Remember about the Saudi/UAE Salafi missionaries I talked earlier? Yeah it's called Madkhalism a branch of Salafism that is increasingly propagated by Saudis and their agents

Here's a recent article (December 28, 2023) by the Times of Israel. They deleted it of course but someone has archived it for me to share with you here.

Is Madkhalism a friend of the State of Israel?

As antisemitism increases across the world, even in Western nations particularly amongst the far-right and white-supremacist organizations – it is still important to note that support for the State of Israel does exist in an unlikely place and can be even expanded with the right approach and support.
As military historians in the Middle East probably would have guessed, I am referring to an obscure Islamic sect that is a much stronger supporter for normalization of ties with Israel – than even secular, nationalist and liberal political parties – the school of thought known as Madkhalism.

As far as any expert knows, the threat from terrorism is rooted fundamentally and inextricably in political Islam – particularly in Jihadist strains such as those advocated by ISIS, Al-Qaeda, Taliban, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Al-Shabaab, Houthis, etc. All these groups are in one way or another influenced by Muslim-Brotherhood methodology, principles, and values.
However, the sect of Madkhalism is core counterbalance to these groups, and helps secure Western secular democratic interests and ideals, as well as the security of the State of Israel.

Additionally, this sect believes in the permissibility of normalizing ties between Islamic governments and Israel and does not believe in boycotting Israeli goods and services. Their unquestioning obedience to governments, even those that are clearly pro-Israeli, such as the UAE, Jordan, Egypt, Morocco, and Sudan etc. means that official policies that benefit Israel will not be opposed but supported, since in their words this is the “decision for the rulers.”
Moreover, this theological principle, known in Arabic as ta’at wali al amr which can be translated as “obedience to the ruler,” is the bedrock of stability across the pro-Israeli Middle Eastern states.

When it comes to the State of Israel, Madkhalism has produced scholarly authorities, that are considered giants in the Islamic world, particularly in the Sunni sect, the biggest sect of Islam, that have called for a negotiated settlement to the Palestinian issue. And Sheikh Al-Albani, the foremost respect Sunni Salafist has advocated the most famous judicial verdict that called for the removal of all Palestinians, including most of the terrorists, to be permanently removed from the West Bank. According to this article Al Albani legitimized the authority of the State of Israel over both the West Bank and Gaza: “But Albani’s fatwā seems to be acknowledgement of de facto Israeli sovereignty over the West Bank and Gaza, which is evidenced by military soldiers that occupy the West Bank, and the Israeli military’s blockade of Gaza.”[1]

To further simply the distinction between Madkhalism and the Jihadist terrorists, in the UK, Shamsi Bensafi, an Islamic cleric, has advocated for peace with the Jewish State of Israel, whilst Daniel Haqiqatjou – an Iranian Shia Jihadist-oriented political agitator – has advocated for endless war with Jews as a whole so that Palestinians can have a state from the river to the sea. The former is a proponent of Madkhalism whilst the latter is a proponent of Jihadist political Islam; and the former is friend of Israel, whilst the latter is an enemy of Israel. Which one benefits Western and Israeli interests?

One of the major security risks emanating from political groups, especially those with Jihadist leanings, is that of assassination. This is particularly a threat to leaders and government officials. For instance, remember the assassination of President Anwar Sadat? Or the assassination of Governor of Punjab in Pakistan, Salman Taseer? The Islamic world is known for its history of assassinations. Unsurprisingly, the assassin is always an Islamist. This threat is also eliminated with the widespread promotion of Madkhalism since they seek to identify these threats and report them to the authorities.
There is no doubt that the fragmentation of states and governments in the Islamic world is a grave security threat to the State of Israel, and the Western world in general. Because this fragmentation creates space for radical extremist groups to train and recruit people to launch terror atrocities like those launched from Afghanistan on the US such as 9/11, or the Bali Bombings that killed hundreds of people including many Australians and Britons. The Madkhalis are instrumental in preventing these attacks, and they would certainly condemn the October 7 atrocities as well.

In the final analysis, when we objectively review all the evidence, it becomes firmly established that Madkhalism is the strain of Islamic thought that is most friendly to the tactical, operational, and strategic goals and objectives of the State of Israel. This group has no problems with normalizing ties with the State of Israel, nor it has any problems with Arab states buying and selling with Israel, thereby strengthening Israeli economy, and securing its interests across the Islamic world and even beyond. Shockingly, it openly promotes the idea of removing all Palestinians from the West Bank and Gaza, and they legitimize the authority and power of modern State of Israel over all the territories that are considered Palestinian territory by the politically problematic strain of the Muslim Brotherhood-type organizations.

Of course from this same "confession" by the Times of Israel, we could deduct the conclusion on what Israel thinks about the so called "Islamic countries" of the Middle East

ph.png

Which clearly confirms my previous accusation that the so called "Islamic countries" are by far just an extension of the zionist state. Something that @contricusc tried to bury under the pretext of pragmatism.

You cannot militarily conquer Israel without destroying their extension state first, each and every one of them.

Abdullah, do your job. ‼️

141929710-arab-businessman-working-in-the-office.jpg

The Israelis have no problem controlling 460 million Arabs/Muslims in the Middle East and Norther Africa region, they simply need to call one of their guards, and these guards in turn will do the job via state security apparatus for them.

Sisi_Salman_Saudi_AP_img.jpg

We now already know that Egyptian intel and security apparatus for example provided Israel with intelligence about Hamas, they also act as the hangman for ANY movements or power inside these so-called "Islamic countries" that threaten or imperil Israeli Interests. Egypt is the very place where rabidly anti-Israel President Morsi was deposed in a bloody coup in 2013.

But again I'm excited for the future, the war in Iraq, the war in Afghanistan, the civil war in Syria, the war in Yemen, and now the Hamas attack, All will inevitably turn the Middle East into a giant battlefield that will slowly erode the institution of these so-called "Islamic countries" until they eventually collapse. Now the Americans are helping as well LOL

It is through decades of war in the Middle East that alternative options of military and political options are created from the traditional head of state and traditional national hierarchy. Without war, there will be no Houthis blocking the Red sea and harming Western interests, without war, there will be no class of modern Arab competent fighting forces, the likes we saw popping out since last decade.

As I said, the Middle East do not need peace, they need war, because peace is in the interests of Israel and war is in the interests of the Arab/wider Islamic world.

What possibly Egypt can do? Or many other similar countries ?
When I was a kid , Egypt had a bit more than 40 million population, now 113. The story is the same with all other so called Islamic countries.
I bet in the next few years, a lot of Muslims in the West will have to move on. Just in Britain over 50% of Muslims live under the poverty line.
A few of those groups have the realistic idea how things work in this world.
In Syria, the chaos works perfectly well for Israel and West, so does in many other places.
What do you think, how many billions USA made from the sale of weapons to the Gulf due to Yemeni war? It outweighs any present loses.
Very little quality doesn't change much.

This is exactly how israel could find itself living peacefully in a sea of hostile nations, the hostile nations simply doesn't put their weight where they need to be.

Israel does many things which I don't like. Israel doesn't push Abdul to have 11 idiotic children, what am I going to do? Sell my weapons in Bosnia to feed them?
It is not just that, how to explain to people who continually speak about their so called stolen riches that even Russia has 20% households without running water?
Let's say Sudanese conflict, like the majority of others it is just another tribal war. In one instance, it was discovered that a combatant, using his phone asked Google, how to " drive " a jet. Halid Bey who was Sudani , flew for the Ottoman Air Force 1915?
Afghanistan is good example though, but those people are of different mind and qualities then others. You can say Hamas too but even there ,Hamas is weighted down by the enormous population.
Don't get me wrong, I do believe that these war will never end and it brings something good but for the tangible victory, you need something else.
What possibly can you do ,when Wilders this Dutch scum can blackmail you with a loaf of bread?
Them comes ,what we call niyett or the declared intentions.
You see , people of Balkans Turkey, Caucasus, Central Asia and Afghanistan, to some extent Iran also, never talk in the sense of colonialism or racism , global South etc. We try to look thing in the more pragmatic and excat way.
I personally, can't fight on behalf of someone for the sake of , let's say colonialism. I can for other matters, but not for that. Anyway, where I come from we already fought the same guy many times. Why should I listen and make it one of my goals Racism? A white man killed my dad and I killed a white man. What more I need to do about that?
