Lol at the IRGC posturing again, by "retaliating" against U.S. missile attacks by firing near a U.S. base. Just another attempt at saving face for their own populace and the neighboring countries that respect them... In reality, they know that a strike on a U.S. base in the region that kills Americans will be met with an ultra-precise, overwhelming, cruise missile barrage that will wipe out whatever key military facility USA decides they want to ahnilitate in Iran in response.
Start with the facilities that manufacture Shahed drones for Russia. Kill two birds with one (or maybe 20) "stones".
They don't need to be willing to pay a very high price if the goal is simply to do substantial damage to Iran's military. We're not talking about invasion. We're talking about destroying key Iranian weapons facilities, air bases, etc by way of TLAMs and JASSMs.US doesn't need excuses for bombing... The question is always how price they are willng to pay ...

There better be no civilian airliners aroundAh nope, judging by Ukraine war and others, a component air defence network would shoot down vast majority of subsonic cruise missiles. I mean, during 2018 Syria missile strike, even JASSM Got shot downed. Iran has a decent network of indeginous air defence systems. Which may put up a good fight.

Well, just because he's a 'respected businessman' doesn't imply that he's not immune to be recruited as a spy.
This is beyond X so-called 'community notes' to decide if he's a spy or not.
Him being labeled a spy by Iran also doesn't make him a spy. In the same sentence they also said they struck ISIS in Idlib, which in actuality was TIP, an anti Isis islamist group.Well, just because he's a 'respected businessman' doesn't imply that he's not immune to be recruited as a spy.

It's definitely beyond Jackson Hinkle the assadist and Putin supporter
Lol... Russia's S-400 / S-300 network, supported by Pantsir's and older systems have repeatedly failed in Crimea to to intercept small quantities of SCALP-EG / Storm Shadow. In fact, S-400 / S-300 have proven incapable of saving even themselves when overwhelmed by a combination of Ukrainian launched cruise missiles and ADM-160 MALD. Russia has a dense network of air defenses in Crimea and they've been overwhelmed by as little as 10-12 well planned missiles at one time.Ah nope, judging by Ukraine war and others, a component air defence network would shoot down vast majority of subsonic cruise missiles. Are you going to sit here and try to tell me that if the U.S. launched a combination of 50+ TLAM / JASSM / LRASM, supported by MALD from destroyers, submarines and a variety of strike aircraft, at a significant Iranian military installation, that enough wouldn't get through to severely damage / destroyed that base / facility / infrastructure? A concentrated barrage of missiles launched in the Persian Gulf against Iranian coastal target(s) would surely get through Iran's coastal SAM network. Of course some would be intercepted, but many would find their target(s)... People vastly overrated the Russian network in in Crimea and I think you're doing it again here.
