Lol at the IRGC posturing again, by "retaliating" against U.S. missile attacks by firing near a U.S. base. Just another attempt at saving face for their own populace and the neighboring countries that respect them... In reality, they know that a strike on a U.S. base in the region that kills Americans will be met with an ultra-precise, overwhelming, cruise missile barrage that will wipe out whatever key military facility USA decides they want to ahnilitate in Iran in response.

Start with the facilities that manufacture Shahed drones for Russia. Kill two birds with one (or maybe 20) "stones".

US doesn't need excuses for bombing... The question is always how much the price they are willng to pay ...

They don't need to be willing to pay a very high price if the goal is simply to do substantial damage to Iran's military. We're not talking about invasion. We're talking about destroying key Iranian weapons facilities, air bases, etc by way of TLAMs and JASSMs.

Ah nope, judging by Ukraine war and others, a component air defence network would shoot down vast majority of subsonic cruise missiles. I mean, during 2018 Syria missile strike, even JASSM Got shot downed. Iran has a decent network of indeginous air defence systems. Which may put up a good fight.

Also the KDP hasn't independently exported any oil for like a year now since that court case between Iraq and TR, the pipeline is shut. Iran's justification about this being because the guy facilitated oil to Israel is stupid

Obviously they attacked nothing of absolutely any importance.
I don't know how people can stipulate anything as some kind of , joining the fight, after reading what they actually hit.
I truly don't understand that.

The community notes on X is getting laughable

No US or Israel personnel or facilities were targeted . The IRGC missiles struck the house of Peshraw Dizayee, a well-respected Kurdish businessman. Four civilians lost their lives, including 2 children.

Historically businessman and diplomats have been the preferred choices to be recruited into the Spy ring, some of the most famous Mossad infiltration attempt in the Arab world are spies disguised as businessmen LMAO

Kamal Amen Thabet A.K.A Eli Cohen

800px-EliCohen.jpg

He was then given a false identity as a Syrian businessman who was returning to the country after living in Argentina. To establish his cover, Cohen moved to Buenos Aires in 1961.[13][14] In Buenos Aires he moved among the Arab community, letting it be known he had large amounts of money to put at the disposal of the Syrian Ba'ath Party. At this time the Ba'ath Party was illegal in Syria but the party seized power in 1963.[15]

800px-Eli_Cohen.jpg

Following the 1963 Syrian coup d'état, newly appointed Syrian Intelligence Colonel Ahmed Suidani disliked Cohen and did not trust figures close to the Second Syrian Republic. Cohen expressed fear of discovery to the Mossad on his last secret visit to Israel in November 1964, and he stated that he wished to terminate his assignment in Syria. The purposes of that visit were to pass on intelligence and to enable him to witness the birth of his third child. Despite this, however, Israeli intelligence asked him to return to Syria one more time. Before leaving, Cohen assured his wife it would be his last trip before he returned home permanently.[7]

In January 1965, Syrian officials, who used Soviet-made tracking equipment and were assisted by Soviet experts, increased their efforts to find a high-level spy. They observed a period of radio silence, in the hope that any illegal transmissions could be identified. They successfully detected radio transmissions and were able to triangulate the transmitter. Syrian security services led by Suidani broke into Cohen's apartment on 24 January and caught him in the middle of a transmission to Israel.

I don't know anything about this Kurdish businessman . Assuming that there were the spys masscaradiing as business people before, objectively doesn't mean that this guy was a spy.
I am sure that Iran has plenty terrorists on the ground to do job.
This strike apart from the posturing for the gullible has primarily target Turkey. You know all that jazz " Turkey support isis".
Oh yes , I forgot. The Kurdish guy has the connections in UAE, where the Mullahs have about 30 bn properties.
This just shows that Turkey must create the death squads and from time to time , teach the lessons to these f. C s.
By the way ,I started to dislike and distrust this guy Hinkle. The more I read what he writes the more I think that at least he is childish charlatan.

Well, just because he's a 'respected businessman' doesn't imply that he's not immune to be recruited as a spy.

This is beyond X so-called 'community notes' to decide if he's a spy or not.

Him being labeled a spy by Iran also doesn't make him a spy. In the same sentence they also said they struck ISIS in Idlib, which in actuality was TIP, an anti Isis islamist group.

Still, none of it is for X's so-called "community notes" to decide what is what. Maybe they should stick to something else that could be proven such as why Guinea Pig technically doesn't come from Guinea

The best way to see the hidden agenda behind the Iranian attack, is to analyze what the importancy was of this Kurdish businessman.

1.- How important was his role for the petrochemical industry of Turkey?
2.- What was his role in the supplychain between Turkey and KRG?
3.- Does he have investments in Turkey?

If this attack and the attack on Idlib was a message for Turkey, than Iran is 100% a Jewish satelitestate.

Because all the genocide-talk of Erdogan regards Israel, will have a price.

Than you can look in the modern history and see for yourself that Israeli interests and Iranian interests in the MENA region are (very coincedantly) fullfilling eachother.

Lol... Russia's S-400 / S-300 network, supported by Pantsir's and older systems have repeatedly failed in Crimea to to intercept small quantities of SCALP-EG / Storm Shadow. In fact, S-400 / S-300 have proven incapable of saving even themselves when overwhelmed by a combination of Ukrainian launched cruise missiles and ADM-160 MALD. Russia has a dense network of air defenses in Crimea and they've been overwhelmed by as little as 10-12 well planned missiles at one time.

Are you going to sit here and try to tell me that if the U.S. launched a combination of 50+ TLAM / JASSM / LRASM, supported by MALD from destroyers, submarines and a variety of strike aircraft, at a significant Iranian military installation, that enough wouldn't get through to severely damage / destroyed that base / facility / infrastructure? A concentrated barrage of missiles launched in the Persian Gulf against Iranian coastal target(s) would surely get through Iran's coastal SAM network. Of course some would be intercepted, but many would find their target(s)... People vastly overrated the Russian SAM network in Crimea and I think you're doing it again here.

Only note: the Russians just annexed Crimea a couple of years ago.

Iran is under threats decades long. They sure have a greater and wider AD network installed to protect their facilities.
