I don't think that Trump bothers to check with advisors that his proposals are viable before posting on his social media platform. This idea of knocking out Iran's electricity generating capacity does not sound practical whereas Iran may be able to black out much of the Gulf countries more centralised generating capacity relatively easily. Trump has dug himself a hole with this war and appears to be unable to stop digging.
Would Trump and whoever wields the power in Iran be prepared to listen to some third party with a view to halting the damage being done to security in the area and to the regional and world economies? It does not look like America can achieve its aim of ending the regime in Iran. It does not look like America can exert any influence over what Iran does with its stock of enriched uranium. However much it strikes Iran, it does not look like the US can change either of those two situations. That was the purpose of the US attacking Iran, was it not?
Unless someone can persuade Trump to stop, this war could go on for some time, with damaging consequences to most of the countries in the world.
