You dont need 50 aircraft,remember that Iran has no air assets or real air defence.
It only has ground forces which means when you rule the skies you have the upper hand,the ground forces can be taken out easy.
The US has satelites,every movement on the ground can be seen and imediately eliminated by missiles from ships or air assets.

how do you think US prevented Iran from attacking them? you need air support, and for constant air support you need that many aircraft,
fighter jets can't loiter for entire day, they need to be swapped and their stations replaced within few hours

also satellites don't provide reliable constant real time intel, thats why US has highly secretive RQ-180 and is developing SR-72

while 50 to 100 aircraft aircraft are supporting the operation, and aircraft waiting on standby for potential need for support?

Trump is not a kind of person to mess with. He literally started (and will likely finish) the collapse of Iran - the most powerful and influential state of middle east.

That not it,the French and British could do it in current Iran where there is almost no Air defence specially in that area/part of the country.

Combine the resources of whole NATO (except US) and they will not be able to do any kind of SEAD in a country like that of Iran let alone conducting a rescue mission after that.
They simply don't have enough assets and logistics scale.
Remember last time when Houthis choked bab al mandeb, what did French and British accomplish there?

TB2 and other MALE/HALE drones can't survive alone against half a decent working SAM network.
MQ9s are such a great success because those nasty F35s and B2 Bombers with hundreds of strike munitions cripple the adversary's SAM networks to negligible scale before their entry.
Iran's almost dead SAMs are still able to down multiple MQ9s daily.
Other than US, no country can sustain these losses.

The main purpose of air defence is to protect its military and infrastructure. Iranians 100% failed here.

Secondary function is to inflict heavy casualties to enemy air force. Again 100% fail for Iran.

UAVs are expendable. The only problem for US and Israel that even 1 pilot captured will be a major victory for ayatulas.
