Turkey’s MKEK and a private group are going to be modernising the M113 personnel carriers in the inventory with Hybrid Electric engines.
just check out the torque value ; 6000NM! (1500hp MTU engine develops 4500NM)
This is what is needed to drive a 65 ton tank. High Torque value is important.
Of course the other advantage is the lower heat and sound signature when you use battery power only.

I totally agree with 105mm laser guided breech loading ATGMs . The missiles from tanks will change all doctrine and upgrade land forces. By the way Ukraine produces 105mm laser guided Falaricks.
Regarding a new turret, sorry to say, it would need much more effort than you create a new tank. In picture the turret has autoloaders with very limited capacity. AFAIK just 12-16 rounds moreover you couldnt load missiles into this autoloader because of the shape. You need more space.

İn short, missiles from tank gun is good because it will transform your army upto high level.
You don't need to rapidly chase hostile tanks because your tank engages by missiles.
Laser guidance is also cheaper than others.

Yes , anyway bro, the unmanned turret in picture ( made in Jordan) has very limited capacity.
If you want decrease weight, then totally remove turret, and use light just ATGM launcher like this.

Edit: BTR -T ( t55 without big turret) and ATGM and ERA ;)

We got some rumors last year regarding 120mm laser guided Konus missiles purchased from Ukraine with partial technology transfer. Don't know what happened to that deal. But as you guys mentioned 105mm ATGM would be a force multiplier for a 105mm gun.

Think of a M60 or M60A3 with a 105mm gun, and fitted with APS like Pulat and ERA fitted over turret. If our 105mm Tanoks are capable of reaching 6+ to 8 km then they are modern tank killers since Tanok has top penetration mode. No tank is going to have a sabot round that can penetrate from that distance.
I am thinking this missile is like Lahat with 8km range as TSK is always very conservative when announcing specs.
