The crazy thing is it was Turkey who refused the USA to invade Iraq from the north.

I get the impression that being kind to nations in the middle east is the wrong way to behave. Being kind invites trouble, its almost like these people only respect force.

Turkey refused it to prevent exactly this, Iraq under Saddam was much less of a threat to Turkey than it getting under Iranian influence, the parliament voted correctly on this one, well except the only party that is ruling us today, tells volumes about the strategic foresight of AKP...

Yeap, this kamikaze UAV belonging to the Iranian-backed militias crashed or was shot down in the village of Duhok/Bandah, 9km from the TSK' Bamerne base.

Someone made a research on the Duhok and found out the range being barely 8 km from the Turkish border.

According to reports it was a mortar round. But how many unguided mortar rounds can hit with such accuracy.

The guess is that it was fired from a closer distance.

Now, they are going to operations with sikorsky helicopters because it is more agile and less People to risk if gets shot.
