These retarded Turkish facists are the culprits of this situation. Why are they allowed to burn the property of Syrians in Turkey and attack them. They are turning Turkey into a communal shithole

Now Turkish soldiers are risking their lives for no good reason
Because they are fed up with bad governance, a population and economic crisis with no end in sight and ever growing number of others. They are not fascists, they are erdogan voters.

Dozens of vehicles entered Operation Euphrates Shield are today.

Kirpi, Cobra armored vehicles and tanks belonging to the Turkish Armed Forces started to deploy in the center of Azez.

A big protest is organized in Hatay, next to the Syrian border.

Purge Hatay from Syrians. Any demonstration in Türkiye should result in immediate expulsion and no chance of return to Türkeye.

Most Syrians live in Hatay by the way as they believe this city belongs to them as part of Greater Syria.

All our neighbours all have land claims against Turkiye like Bulgaria, Greece, Cyprus, Syria, Iraq, Georgia, Armenia and Iran.

Lets not forget Greater Israel they believe parts of Turkiye belong to them LOL

The idea of letting protesters, well, protest is to preserve freedom of speech and project a lawful image to the rest of the world. However since Turkey is already considered a dictatorship, might as well double down and put those jackboots to use cracking down on the necks of people who actually warrant it.

Get your facts right please. Most Syrians are, as of March 2023, in İstanbul, Gaziantep, and Urfa. Then Hatay. Majority of the Syrian refugees that are housed in Hatay are the relatives of the Shia community of Hatay.

Hatay has a big population of Syrians living in camps. Hatay’s own Arabic origin population are loyal TR subjects and having seen the mess in Syria, they are even more dedicated to Turkiye. Apart from that, they are Shia Muslims and do not like the predominantly Sunni Syrians that have sought refuge in Hatay. They see themselves as devout followers of Atatürk‘s principles. There aren’t many stray Syrians like in İstanbul or Antalya, in Hatay; apart from the rich ones that have rented villas etc. I have seen the use of daily arabic language less and less by the locals in Iskenderun after the influx of Syrians. Where as you would have heard more Arabic spoken amongst locals in and around the city, say 15 years ago, now there is more tendency to speaking Turkish even amongst each other, to isolate themselves from the Syrians.

Lets be honest here they only became loyal overtime because Syria will never get Hatay back.

When the Turks took Hatay majority of the Syrians opposed the takeover including the Alawites which you say are loyal to Ataturks principles.

Remember they opposed the takeover from the start. Deep down every Syrian harbours a grievance against Turkiye because of 1939. They havent got it out of their national conscious.

At the same Turkiye is a better place to live than Syria. Hence why they wont make that mistake of being separatists.

You are talking about the Syrian refugees or the native Arabic speakers?

If we talk about the native Arabic speakers they are extremely patriotic people with no separatism in them. In a matter of fact there is a serious number of native Hatay Arabic speakers that are serving in Syria within TSK right now.

An interesting fact is that the way they speak Arabic is unique for Hatay and may even be counted as a separate dialect. While very close to the Levantine Arabic there are still some differences.

We can talk romantic about it but it is clear as the sun, Turkiye's Syria policy is bankrupt and we got 5 lmn Syrians as bonus
Worst of all, the man behind this policy is not held accountable. People are sick of bad governance, corruption and Syrians as they rightly should be.

Every time he fvcks up its: kandirildim.

Erdogan's policy towards the so-called Arab Spring was wrong from the very beginning (2011).
Especially in Syria.
This was also wrong with regard to Egypt.
In Libya, things almost came to war with Egypt, and Erdogan had to stop halfway.
Today Turkey has to reap the fruits of these mistakes :(

Nah it worked as it planned the rebels nearly won but instead of pushing towards Damascus they began fighting each other.

Various nations went in then the YPG took chunks then ISIS came into the picture.

Turkiye screwed up because it beaten around the bush too long while Usa, Iran and Russia all went in.

Then again even if Bashar al assad fell the rebels would have ended up in a civil war anyway.

Ottomans did a better job in running the Middle East then the republic of Turkiye.

Lets all be honest here the Ottomans ruled here for 400 years with an iron fist approach same in the Balkans and the Caucasus.

You can never be soft in these regions.

We are talking about different times.
I mean the last 15 years.
It is now obvious that it would be beneficial for Turkey to support not the Syrian “revolutionaries”, but Assad.
By the way, Ankara has long understood this and events are developing in this direction.

Turkiye and the Assad regime have never been good in relations and Turkiye nearly went to war in the late 90s against the Assad regime.

Assad regime supported the Pkk and Asala for decades even threatened war when Turkiye built a dam.

Erdogan and Assad began to warm up in the 2010s but that was short lived.

Relations have been tense and hostile ever since the Ottoman Empire collapsed and taking back Hatay before Ataturk passed away.

Its good that there is someone who at least understands what is going on

Translation:

When I said I could also meet with Assad after meeting with Iraq, those who wanted to disrupt the market appeared. The smell of CIA and MOSSAD is in the air. We need to be careful.

It would be naive to believe that Assad will form a normal relationship with Turkiye. The only viable option Turkiye has is within the UN Security Council Resolution 2254 (the full text can be found here https://www.securitycouncilreport.org/atf/cf/{65BFCF9B-6D27-4E9C-8CD3-CF6E4FF96FF9}/s_res_2254.pdf ).

As long as the requirement of this resolution are not met our work in Syria will not end. Everything from the fight against terrorism (HTS, PKK, IS etc) to the safe return of the Syrian refugees and the political process passes trough the implementation of this resolution. Our forces are currently on the field, working towards this goal. This is the end game for Turkiye.

In parallel with this strategy reinforcing the order in our controlled areas and limiting the influence of radical groups in these areas is a must. A step towards this was taken with the opening of the military academy of the SNA which will hopefully "manufacture" SNA high quality officers who hopefully will take the place of the currently deployed traitors while the traitors in question will be expelled and/or punished.

Dealing solely with Assad is the worst that can happen as he, Russia and Iran will never stop their expansion. They don't want a coordination with Turkiye, but domination over Turkiye using all the means including the YPG/PKK card. If we manage to make Assad and the Opposition to strike a deal a half of our problems will be sorted out, but before this we must strengthen our hand in these negotiations and events like the recent ones are not helping. They were destined to happen, but the escalation was premature, not in the right moment and it unfortunately catch us unprepared (again).
