I don't know why, but I have the feeling another turkish military operation in North Syria is imminent. I hope I am right about it and not day dreaming 😅
There won't be any operation in Syria. I have been waiting for this operation since years now, remembering fondly the glorious moment when our "Bordo Bereliler" captured the Afrin center and wishing the same for other north Syrian cities. But afterwards each time Erdogan says "we can suddenly come one night" and we don't "come" I was feeling humiliated. On the other hand, rationally thinking, the strategy of the state is right now. We need to gain time, at least five years and maybe more, even if we have to give some concessions in the meantime. We can reverse them afterwards when the time comes.

basically the USA are telling the syrian government to bend over and take it up the arse.
Indeed, Shara cannot do anything else. He needs time. He will need to continue to appease Israel and probably agree to give up the control of south Syria. But in return for this, Israel will gain a real enemy. That is, Israel's paranoic attitude will lead to the realization of its fear. Shara will be even closer to Turkey militarily in the future and Turkey will never forget what Israel has been doing in the last couple of years.

The zionist/american axis have been playing a strategy of keeping her enemies divided and then picking them off one by one. As Turks i also think we need to understand that isreal will not give us 10 years let alone 20 to develop our military industry. The iranian axis for all intents and purposes is finished and it really put fuck all resistance up when Isreal decided to truly take them out.

Once the isrealis break enough of syria off they will simply assassinate Shara while having a puppet ready to takeover. The game is complete and total domination of the entire region.

The best thing we can do is sweep into the north east of syria and take out the ypg, that will break the Isreali purpose in the south in trying to create a corridor. But if we keep sitting on our dicks and doing nothing, a day will come when we will be all alone and the fight will be within our lands.

The three were idiots who caused the death of an empire and the near genocide of the Turkish people, don't mistake stupidity for bravery.

Right now there is a shift in how the United States sees Israel as the boomer generation dies that shift is going to be greater and Israel will loss it's privileges that is why it wants to destabilise the entire middle east now because it knows that it will not have the ability to fight tomorrow, as without the US, israel is nothing.
That is correct. Generations after Boomer won't be providing indefinite support to Israel in the future as was done so far. We just need to put up with Israel for the next 10 years or so. We need to be patient. Even now Trump does not like what Israel is doing but he has to obey as US is currently a servant of Israel. But we need to use the time very well. We shouldnt forget. I have always believed Israel and Turkey do not have any fundamental conflicts and I'd have preferred to be allies with Israel rather than Arabs who stabbed us from behind (and some still doing it actually). So I was against the islamist and ummah mentality. But I have realized Israel has now a policy of dividing and weakening every other country in middle east (except the ass licking ones) even if they don't really threaten Israel. This is no-go! I am now convinced, Turkey has no other option but work like crazy on its economy and military. As Turkey gets stronger and stronger, several middle east, african, and asian countries will become its "satellites". And once some laser or other technology is invented which will eliminate most air threats and thus also atom bomb threat (thus leading to a pat situation in air), then land forces may dictate the outcome of a war. This will then be the end of Israel. Even if this last conjecture does not materialize, a strong Turkey which will be followed by Arab countries can put a lot of pressure on Israel and cut its supply lines off both from land and sea.

That's another view. Should we wipe out YPG now? We should have done it six months ago when Shara forces toppled down Asad. That window of opportunity is gone now. The state is now trying the peace card. I am guessing even Öcalan and YPG realized Israel is just using them and may sell them off anytime it doesn't suit its interests. Is is not like Turkey will be silent all the way. Turkey may allow some "small" concessions in Syria but not large ones, it is a bit of a balance act. Remember what Trump said to Netanyahu: "I believe I can help you with Erdogan. But you have to be reasonable". So currently, we still need to play for time. But this doesn't mean we will give whole Syria to Israel. If Israel becomes "unreasonable" and YPG plays with, Tturkish state will make pressure on Erdogan to act in Syria, who will need to follow suit (both to satisfy his political base but also given his personal views regarding Israel).

Apart from this I don't think we need to wait 20 years. We just need to get 40 EF, 40 F16V, and modernize all other F16s as well as complete the Siper system fully and produce thousands of ballistic missiles. We need to produce Anka 3 and Kizilelma in numbers as well. All of these can be done in the next five years. Then we won't be able to beat US but we will be far far off from Iran. And I don't think Israel or ISrael and Greece together will try it against us (but we should not provoke first to avoid active US help to Israel). And of course the more time we gain the better it'll get for us.

There is a picture of a Bedouin that got killed and the Druze alongside their Jewish buddies hanged him upside down.

You gotta go full Genghis Khan on these kind of people.

Hopefully they can take control back and truly expel all the zionist assets in the region. I honestly think we've hit a point where the entire middle east sees Isreal as no more then a crusader state.
Quite unlikely
Israel wont sit down and see Suwaydah fall into the state's hand since they will lose their greatest excuse in intervening in Syria

It will be overrun by Bedouin tribes before it falls into the hands of the actual Syrian Government, lol. Either way this wave of tribal mobilization most likely put an end to the planned israeli planned within the next two weeks. No chance that israeli ground forces can simply roll in now, even with air support.

I really don't think Turkey will go ahead and push Israel in the south, like Israel doesn't push Turkey in the north. By what's come out so far, Turkey instead tried hard to push Syria and Israel ceasefires in the last month.

Turkey also very likely won't do anything without greater GCC/Syria and even US backing in the south unless situation threatens Aleppo and greater northwest.

The US has accepted the presence of Turkish troops in the Damascus countryside
US had also seemingly accepted Damascus' control of Suwayda, then the all hell broke lose. Turkey is not equal to US, we don't live and act in the same plane of existence, you can't take them at their word.

The US and Israel have different agendas in Syria. Netanyahu is on trial in a corruption case. He is constantly preoccupied with artificial tensions in his country, seeking to disrupt the trial. Most recently, he poisoned himself to avoid testifying in court. The hearing has been postponed until September.

YPG face 30-day ultimatum from US and Turkey

The United States and Turkey have given the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) a 30-day deadline to finish integrating with the Syrian government, sources familiar with the matter have told Middle East Eye.

SDF leader Mazloum Abdi signed an agreement in March with Syrian interim president Ahmed al-Sharaa, outlining the full merger of the SDF and its agencies into the Damascus government.

However, progress has stalled as the SDF and other Kurdish groups have demanded autonomy and resisted merging under the Syrian defence ministry, insisting on retaining a separate military command and organisational structure within the Syrian army.

American and Turkish patience is wearing thin, sources told MEE. During a meeting in Syria last week, US and Turkish officials gave the SDF a 30-day ultimatum to join the Damascus government.

“The SDF was told that not all of its armed units would be integrated into the Syrian army. Units excluded from integration would be disarmed, and overall control would remain with the Syrian government,” one source said.

The Damascus government reportedly shows little interest in incorporating the SDF’s all-women units, known as the YPJ - an offshoot of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) - into its ranks.

Thomas Barrack, the US ambassador to Turkey and special envoy for Syria, has made it clear in several interviews and statements this month that Washington opposes such demands and favours a unified Syria with one nation, one military, and one state.

Earlier this month, the SDF delegation held talks with Syrian government officials, as well as American and French representatives. The discussions, however, yielded no breakthrough.

After the meeting, Barrack told journalists in New York: “We’ll bring you together, we’ll arbitrate, we’ll mediate, we’ll help, but we’re not going to stick around.

"If you guys don’t agree, then don’t agree, but we’re not going to be here forever as the babysitter and the mediator," he said.

Barrack also warned the SDF that failure to reach an agreement with Damascus could result in "other alternatives".

Turkish officials at the meeting held in Syria last week emphasised that the SDF should not exploit the goodwill of Damascus, Ankara and Washington by prolonging negotiations and stalling for time.

Sweida raises stakes

Recent Israeli air strikes in Damascus, prompted by clashes in Sweida between Bedouins and Druze, have heightened tensions in Ankara.

Turkish government sources worry that Israeli intervention could embolden the SDF to persist in its demands for autonomy, particularly as Damascus appears ineffective in resolving the conflict and faces accusations of crimes against the Druze minority.

Nevertheless, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Monday that his government fully supports al-Sharaa’s administration and would not allow Syria to be partitioned.

Over the weekend, Erdogan told journalists during a visit to Northern Cyprus that al-Sharaa’s firm stance on Sweida should serve as a clear message to the SDF that there will be no compromise on disarmament talks.

In last week's meeting, Turkish officials requested that the YPG provide information on tunnel networks along the Turkish border and weapons depots established in civilian areas, according to the same sources speaking to MEE.

Middle East Eye has asked the Turkish government for comment.

Barrack, who spoke to SDF leader Mazloum Abdi over the weekend, said this week that he does not believe the violence in Sweida will derail talks and that there could be a breakthrough "in the coming weeks".

A US State Department official, speaking on condition of anonymity in accordance with government protocol, said that while they could not discuss specifics of private diplomatic conversations, the integration talks between the SDF and the Syrian government remain ongoing and active.

“We support the continuation of these discussions as the best way to resolve any outstanding issues,” the official said.
