I just read this . It claims to be abandoned base.

People need to stop pretending this is some shocking escalation. Israel does this because they know Türkiye won’t escalate. Erdogan, like every Islamist government, avoids direct confrontation with Israel. Even if a base was full of children, AKP would still avoid a real response. Same story with Iran. Everyone talks big, nobody acts.

The bigger problem is what I said earlier... our presence in Syria is still limited to certain zones. Until Türkiye has a full, nationwide footprint , military, political, or administrative... strikes like this will keep happening. Israel knows exactly where the red lines are, and they know these empty-base hits won’t trigger anything. It’s basically them testing patience because the map still treats Syria as a grey area.

And realistically, what can Türkiye do right now? We don’t even have KAAN in service yet, and Israel is backed by the US and Europe. A full takeover of Syria is the only scenario that would actually change the equation, but that’s a massive commitment.

So what’s left? Either Israel keeps doing whatever they want and we just absorb it, or we finally show that Syria isn’t a free-for-all. As much as I laugh at AKP’s cowardice, this whole situation is a bad look for Türkiye and for all Turks.

Translation:
The Israeli army carried out eight airstrikes on the Abu al-Duhur Air Base in northwestern Syria. The runway and depots at the base, which is being used as a training center for the new Syrian army, were targeted, with no casualties reported. The operation took place following tensions with Turkey and Syria's air exercise.

Are you going to talk about how Türkiye is patient, like you have been for the past decade?
Türkiye has been patient, waited for the right time to move. And when it moved, it won decisive victories in Karabagh, in Syria and in Libya.

It is still early to get into a direct confrontation with Israel. We should wait until the collapse of the Epstein Regime in the USA while establishing robust alliances and encircling Israel militarily&diplomatically.

Why would Turkey want a conflict with Israel? It makes no sense. Look at the countries that have conflicts with Israel: Iran, Lebanon, Syria, Palestine. They are bombed at will, and their economies are barely functioning.

You can’t be a successful country and be at war with Israel. They have too much inflience and power to allow that.

I think those days are over my friend, Erdoğan is too politically fragile and won't risk anything, don't mistake it for some strategic waiting game. We were waiting 7 years for a decisive end to YPG/PKK and now they're celebrating on the streets.

Karabakh was fought and won by Azerbaijani Turks. That's what happens when Turkish weapons and training is used effectively.

Direct confrontation? Dude Türkiye can't confront them for as long as PKK has so much of a presence inside Turkish territory. It's like if Israel allowed Hamas to walk in their streets.

There is zero strategy here. Just a rising defence industry and a big military that's inflexible for as long as it's ruled by the palace.

You are comparing Türkiye with weakling states, Türkiye owned the land for many centuries.
Their strength was once too much for Türkiye, but they are bleeding big time while Türkiye is building up.

So you agree or disagree Erdogan will do nothing ?

You speak as if the regime of Epstein will be removed and replaced a non Epstein peados ?

As long as Israel stay away from our lands(and Syria) there will not be any conflict.
Lets see how tough they are when we finally have our KAANs flying in the skies.
Saying this while ISLAMIC Republic of Iran is literally fighting against Israel.
Yeah, lets ignore the fact that Iran right now is not bombing Israel and just focusing on Kuwait, Bahrain or some other weak Islamic nation.:ROFLMAO:

Muslims just talk tough online, while living in Sweden.
Ask them to go fight Israel they become cowards.
No wonder why EU and West are desperate to support Erdogan and his Islamization of Anatolia.

We are only at the beginning. Things move faster as we approach to the solution, we are seeing incredible changes in our geograpgy and we will see even bigger ones.

Saving Karabagh seemed impossible to us until it happened. Same for Syria. I don't know how old are you but I'm old enough to remember those days.

There will be no word of PKK and any such terror group in Türkiye's future. The era that shaped by Cold War is over. No more proxies and non-state actors in the Middle East. Better get used to it and find yourself a new notion.

Read my post from yesterday if you want to see the grand strategy:

The only actors that are actually fighting against Israel define themselves Islamic. Such as Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran. Not a single secular actor is directly countering them.

It is crazy how can you claim the exact opposite of every single fact.

In the Turkish independance war we truly know what a bunch of backstabbers these Jews are.

Warriors my ass. Beating a bunch of incompetent Arabs is not the hall mark of such a badass military forces that they try perceive it to be.

Just a rabid dog. That is attacking everybody.

YPG/PYD identifies its main enemy: “We would fight against Israel”

The YPG/PYD’s Ayn al-Arab official Mahmut Berhudan says Israel’s advance in Syria is unacceptable

Mahmut Berhudan, the Ayn al-Arab official of the PKK’s Syrian affiliate, the YPG/PYD, said Israel’s advance in Syria cannot be accepted. “The Israeli occupation and threat continue along the Golan–Quneitra–Daraa line,” Berhudan said, adding that they would be ready to fight Israel if the Damascus government assigned them a mission in the area.

We published the first part of our interview yesterday with Mahmut Berhudan, the local official of the YPG/PYD in Ayn al-Arab (Kobani), a district of Aleppo that has been under the group’s control since 2012. In the second part, we discuss the organization’s future, weapons supplied by the United States, Israel’s objectives in the region, and the group’s views on the Islamic State’s entry into Syria.

Mahmut Berhudan spoke to our colleague Yılmaz Bilgen about how the PYD-YPG will be integrated into Syria and what course they intend to follow in the period ahead.

Here are Berhudan’s remarks:

Israel’s Abraham Accords, the so-called David Corridor, and its operations in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and Iran are sending us very important messages. Israel, which has declared the area between the Euphrates and the Nile to be the “Promised Land,” has expanded this boundary from the Nile all the way to Isfahan in Iran. This means they will not stop. Arabs, Turkmen and Kurds all live in the regions in question. We are witnessing what is happening in Palestine, Gaza and Lebanon with our own eyes. Israel’s religious, political and military objectives also pose a major threat to the Kurds.
This is why we consider the “Terror-Free Region” process initiated by President Erdoğan and MHP leader Bahçeli to be meaningful. Within the next few days, we will become soldiers of the Syrian army. Israeli occupation and threats continue along the Golan–Quneitra–Daraa line. If Damascus assigns us a mission there, we would gladly go and deploy there. If there is a war, we would not hesitate to fight for our homeland. Let me say this with complete sincerity: rather than sitting at home right now, I would prefer to be there in that region.

Mahmut Berhudan spoke to our colleague Yılmaz Bilgen about how the PYD-YPG will be integrated into Syria and what course they intend to follow in the period ahead.

“THE WEAPONS THE US GAVE US HAVE BEEN GREATLY EXAGGERATED”

We reminded Mahmut Berhudan that the amount of weapons supplied by the United States and what happened to those weapons is one of the most widely discussed issues in the Turkish public debate.

He responded as follows:

Our direct military contact with the United States began with the Islamic State’s attack on Ayn al-Arab. At that time, we were in a position where we would accept help from anyone, in any form. After that, we had an intense relationship for 10 years.
I have to say that there has been some exaggeration regarding the weapons supplied to us. In terms of military vehicles, equipment and ammunition, yes, we received substantial support. But when it comes to weapons, believe me, sometimes they sent us rusty swords that could not even cut.
As for the weapons that remain in our possession, a delegation from Damascus came and inspected and recorded all of them. The army has full authority to decide how these weapons will be used. We are being integrated into the new army as four regiments. They can determine the needs of the military garrisons and security forces here and transfer any surplus weapons and ammunition to another area. There is no obstacle or hesitation on this issue.
I hope what we have said is sufficient for the Turkish public as well. A significant portion of the armored vehicles and ammunition supplied by the United States was destroyed on the front lines, beginning with the fighting in Tal Rifaat and Manbij.

“‘ISIS NEVER CARRIED OUT AN ATTACK IN ISRAEL OR IRAN!’”

Arguing that the most important turning point in Syria came with the Islamic State, Mahmut Berhudan said the organization was part of a multinational operation. One of the most striking statements he made in the interview was:

“Some circles blamed Erdoğan at the time for ISIS’s existence and activities. Yet ISIS caused enormous damage not only to Syria and the Kurds, but also to Turkey.”

Berhudan said:

“Following President Erdoğan’s instructions, the Turkish military fought ISIS intensively. I would particularly like to draw attention to this: although this organization carried out bombings even in Europe, it never carried out an attack in Iran or Israel. This is a very interesting point.
“In addition, Europe was ISIS’s largest source of militants. We can also include Russia and the Caucasus, the Gulf countries, Tunisia, Libya and Morocco. It would be a great injustice to portray Turkey and President Erdoğan as part of this multinational operation.”

My guy, you’re acting like these people are out here fighting some grand war. Most of the loudest voices ran to Europe the moment things got serious. They talk tough online while living comfortably in Italy, Sweden, Germany ..anywhere far from the actual conflict. That’s the reality.

And none of this proves Muslims are “fighting Israel.” The groups you listed operate for their own interests, not for some unified cause, and they’ve all shown they’re willing to negotiate, pause, or shift depending on what benefits their leadership. Meanwhile, the average person just escapes to a safer country and becomes part of the diaspora. That’s the pattern.

So no, you didn’t prove anything. You’re in Italy right now because you don’t want to be anywhere near the danger yourself. That alone tells the story.

In Internet lingo:

Hamas = cuckified Israeli servants.

You were previously claiming "tHeSe isLamİst dOnt FigHt". Now you changed your claim to "ThEy fİghT buT..."

The only existing Islamist countries&groups in the Middle East do fight against Israel. We are not fighting them (yet) because our country is NOT Islamist as you keep mumbling. Egypt had an Islamic government and it took a year for Israel&UAE to overthrow it and install a secular corrupt dictator.

"Islamists" are the biggest danger to Israel as they repeatedly declared this like a hundred times with their buddies in the Emirates.

So no, you didn’t prove anything. You’re in Italy right now because you don’t want to be anywhere near the danger yourself. That alone tells the story.
I sent you a private message to arrange a meeting in Ankara or Istanbul few days ago. Why didn't you respond me? I live in Türkiye and was in Syria for a long time few months ago.

You and your other high-schooler friends on this forum are doing nothing but making baseless accusations against everyone and embarrassing yourselves. Few days ago, in the space of an hour, your gang managed to label me "fled to Italy", "a Kurd", "a PKK supporter", "a FETÖ member", "a DEVA Party member", and "an agent who regularly visits Qatar". Your obsession with labeling anyone who disagrees with you shows just how indefensible, shallow, and fragile your own position is. You are nothing but ad hominem attacks and ignorant fallacies.

Hamas = cuckified Israeli servants.
That's why Israel refuses to accept any deal in Gaza with Hamas existing.

Alot of you have serious, serious issues. What must one smoke to unironically write such sentence, that "Turkey won victory in Karabakh", how could Turkey win a war in which Turkish army didn’t directly participate? Unlike Libya and Syria, there was and is no significant Turkish military presence. Turkey even had air defence batteries in Libya fyi. Azerbaijan obviously don’t need such a thing, because it’s not a militia but a state army.

What did Turkey win in Karabakh? What does that even mean? Is Turkey controlling Karabakh? By power of telepathy?

To equate Azerbaijan with militias of Libya and Syria, yes you must be smoking something.

Is Syria able to procure and operate 150 modern self-propelled howitzers? 300 automatic self-propelled mortars? How about dozens of PULS guided rocket launchers? Btw, some people ask "why Azerbaijan do not buy these from Turkey", well, your howitzers are just howitzers installed on back of a truck, these are turreted, automatic howitzers. Maybe Syria can buy your truck howitzers tho, if you donate some.

As for the "Bayraktars", it’s time to move on, it’s getting really, really boring. Azerbaijan is operating AESA equipped fighter jets and these guys are still yapping about a MALE UAV that has been exported to 40 countries.
